We stayed on February 3 with our dance team and I accidentally left my charging station for my iphone and iwatch in the room when I left Saturday. I called Saturday evening when I realized I had left it. Spoke to the man working the front desk, he assured me he would make sure to get in touch with housekeeping first thing in the morning, because we still had team members there that could bring it back when they left Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. This time I had to leave a message with housekeeping. I left a couple different messages and none of them were ever returned. I called again today (1 week later) told the girl at the front desk that I had called a few times about this and had never gotten an answer or a call back. She said ”well it was never turned in.” When I asked why my messages were never returned, she didn't respond at all. I have no doubt someone kept it for themselves, whatever I'm the one who left it, my fault. But the fact that not a single message was ever returned is extremely frustrating. Had it not been for this incident, I would have given them a 4 star rating. The room was nice, the check in staff on the night of February 3 was fantastic. But this has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I won't stay here again.

Super cute layout and architectural design. But a little attention to detail would help. Caulking in bathroom a night stand that does not look like a dog chewed it up. Broken glass in parking lot made me worry if my car might not be safe. Luxury it is not.

Hotel is located in central Topeka, close to Brown vs. Board of Education National Historic Site and the Kansas State Capitol. I lucked out because parking was free on Topeka city streets on weekends. The staff was extremely accommodating, giving me local recommendations and even bringing me a tub of ice (it was really hot when I was there). My room was large and frankly, fairly luxurious. The shower, especially, was spectacular. I don't know if I'll ever have the pleasure of staying in Topeka again, but if I do, this will be my destination.

There was not one moment that I felt safe in this hotel. This place was most likely haunted (very eery vibe), at least 100 years old, hasn't been cleaned sufficiently in probably 20 of those years and for sure needs to be demolished. It seemed abandoned except for homeless or transient individuals. Doors were wide open all day/night until 11pm when the only option for security was off site...no on site options for any sort of service. The tiny bit of peace i found was that the police station was right down the road. Would've canceled the first night but it was late when we got into town... I did not sleep a wink and canceled the 2nd night. James at the front desk was very helpful and kind during check in, but NO....don't even consider this place.

We stayed for a night for a family wedding near town. It was a great stay for the price. There was an amazing hot and cold breakfast. There was lots of coffee around. The rooms were clean and spacious. Would stay here again.

I booked this motel with little expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. The afternoon desk clerk was very efficient in checking me in. The room was nice. The motel was kind enough to give me a late check out. The morning desk clerk was very helpful, too (although not very friendly). Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. Much nicer than a so-called economy lodge or a motel to spend days in!

This is a really good courtyard. The front desk was courteous and friendly. Check in was a breeze. They accommodated my request for a first floor room. The room was clean and well maintained. The lighting was excellent in the room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were varied. Ice on the floor and coffee in the room was a plus. They only clean room upon request (we were there 4 days) unless requested, but supply extra amenities as well as clean towels upon request. There is no operational cafe due to Covid…but plenty of restaurants around nearby.

This is by FAR THE COOOOOOOLEST POOL I'VE EVER SEEN !!! Except if I'm in Vegas....but even then it kicks the butt out of all Vegas pools but a few !!! Very clean, they have a bar with happy hour & 2 free drink tickets & the BEST BREAKFAST EVER !!! Someone actually serves you breakfast !!! Same price as everywhere else if not cheaper !!! 5 STARS BIG TIME !!!

This hotel is showing its age, but it's still worth a stay. Clean, comfortable room with internet-based TV options, although we couldn't get Showtime to work as promised. Breakfast offerings stayed fresh. Good wifi. Very friendly desk employees on a very busy night. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Let me start off by saying the good things first! check in staff was extremely nice and welcoming. She went above and beyond telling a story about Topeka to my children, and informing us about the hotel. We were told from the beginning that the hot tub was not working which was fine, we did use the pool instead. The rooms seem moderately clean and the bed was comfortable. However with all that being said I don’t think I would recommend this hotel for families the room was very cramped and the bathroom situation is not ideal, the shower was built into a rounded pillar (think turret) my 5 year old slipped on the rounded portion while trying to wash her hair and the bathroom vanity being on the outside of the bathroom made it difficult to get up and get ready without waking everyone up, also the toilet ran very loudly. The walls were thin so you could hear everything. My biggest complaint might be that there seems to be a musty smell lingering in the hotel, I’m not sure what it is due to however it didn’t affect the cleanliness but it did linger. Over all it’s not a bad place to stop for one night or even for 1-2 people but for a family of 3-4 specifically with young children I wouldn’t recommend it.
