It is a very economical hotel in the local area. Others are generally around 200 US dollars. This hotel is about 100 US dollars. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the airport and about 15 minutes to downtown--pretty convenient. It is interesting to watch the seaplanes land right in front of the hotel. A shuttle runs 24/7 to the airport, which was nice. The last downtown shuttle returns to hotel at 7:20pm which requires planning to return. The restaurant is very busy in the morning and has a waiting list. The hotel hallways were dirty and not vacuumed the weekend. Hall trash bins were overfull and trash laid around them. The rooms were clean, but did not have a microwave.

We liked how the room was clean and the pool smelled like chlorine and was clean unlike other hotels we stayed at. But the front desk clerk was very rude. I tried to check in a couple mins early and she only said I don’t see your name anywhere and pretty much only left me an option to leave and come back later. So instead of being friendly she was opposite and made me feel not wanted there. But we stayed anyway. And the breakfast really sucked!
