Located in the heart of the Arts District in NE Minneapolis, this Victorian Duplex is 6 blocks from three of the best Brewpubs in Minneapolis (Dangerous Man, Indeed, Able), and 10 blocks from 9 more:). We are 2 blocks from a couple of the best restaurants in NE and less than a mile from some of the best Ethnic restaurants on Central Avenue.This is a duplex and I live upstairs with my kids 50% of the time , you will be renting the lower unit which has its own private entrances. (Please don't be concerned about noise if you are bringing children)The home features a large master bedroom that looks out onto the koi pond in the back yard. The Landscape has won a MNLA award for outstanding Design and has been featured in numerous magazines and local papers. It has a 20x4x4 deep Koi pond that can be used for soaking in! There is an outdoor kitchen with a built in grill and Custom built Wood fired Pizza Oven. For the sports fan the tarp covering the kitchen and cooking area is a piece of the original metrodome roof. For the kids there is a sandbox,a climbing wall and a lookout tower:)Plenty of room for entertaining; the Dining room is set up as another living room with a built in checker board. First off, I was charged an extra “historic building” fee when I checked in. When I questioned it, I was told it was because I didn’t use their website to book. The room was ok, no hairdryer. There was an almost constant loud him coming from the bathroom wall. Nice view of the river but awakened at 4 am by people yelling and fighting somewhere. Restaurant only serves breakfast on weekends and we were unable to find any open places for breakfast within walking distance. Wasn’t a terrible stay but I wouldn’t go back.

Fully remodeled home with a cool vibe. Located on the North end of Central avenue this home has everything that you would want for a weekend getaway, a week stay or a Staycation! Hot tub for 2 ( fits 4, but its a bit tight) New Memoryfoam king beds, comfortable couches a 55" 4k TV, Bocceball court and a fooseball table. The home is filled with art and amenities. There a huge outdoor patio. Amazing restaurants in walking distance including a coffeeshop right out of the back door.The home has a cute 3 season porch on the front that allows for easy waits for an Uber, as you walk into the home is a foyer with a new pullout couch and unique MCM art. Walking to the left will bring you into the living room which boasts two extremely comfy chairs and another pull out couch. The living room has a 55' 4K tv and cable for watching Hulu or Nextflix and we also have an abundance of board games including Settlers of Catan and Azule.We even have a Super NES with 21 different games! Walking into the kitchen there is a table for four and all new cabinets and appliances. The kitchen has a teapot and a carafe style coffee maker to keep that Coffee hot without it getting bitter:) We supply the coffee for you! IF you walk down the stairs there is a washer/dryer for guests use and a Professional style Fooseball table. Walking out of the back door there is a huge patio and Firepit along with a hot tub and Best yet a 80' long Bocce ball court. We have a grill and seating for outdoor enjoyment and cafe string lights for ambiance. Back into the house and walking up the stairs there are two bedrooms with a king bed each and new 12" memory foam mattresses, each room has a personal fan if you need some air movement and a dresser to keep your clothes for an extended stay. The hotel is next to the university, with supermarkets and restaurants around, so life is quite convenient. The room is clean and tidy. It was very clean when I checked in. The facilities in the house are quite complete, but cooking is definitely not possible. There is a large microwave, a household refrigerator, and a garbage disposal in the sink. I didn't see any drinking water. The thing worth complaining about is that there is basically nothing to eat for breakfast. In addition to egg custard, bread, and salty sausages, there is basically nothing else. It may not reach the level of a fast hotel in China, but fortunately, you can eat enough if you are not picky.

Very spacious and modern rooms, very cool design of public areas and rooms! Unfortunately, we had some difficulties communication with the hotel twice. First, we wanted to learn more about parking and hotel put us on 10 minutes hold and after that they did not pick up the call for more than an hour! Maybe they are busy, but still leaves an impression. Secondly, we called at the reception to ask about the places open for a beer or wine and they simply hang up on us twice. Moreover, there was something with the lock- we could not leave the room without asking for help outside. I’m glad we were not in the rush in the morning. Not sure why is that so haha! Generally great area in the city center and pretty design!

The area’s good in the morning but a bit of a walk to the busier part of downtown so may not be as safe to walk around. The room is huge!!! However, it’s not clean! There were a bit if hair in the bathroom, coffee pod left in the coffee maker, and my feet got itchy when I walked bare feet, their carpet looked unclean. But just had to stay overnight for a concert and it was the cheapest option near the concert place so I was fine.

First off, I was charged an extra “historic building” fee when I checked in. When I questioned it, I was told it was because I didn’t use their website to book. The room was ok, no hairdryer. There was an almost constant loud him coming from the bathroom wall. Nice view of the river but awakened at 4 am by people yelling and fighting somewhere. Restaurant only serves breakfast on weekends and we were unable to find any open places for breakfast within walking distance. Wasn’t a terrible stay but I wouldn’t go back.

The entrance to the parking lot is directly across the street from the Hyatt and the area can be hectic getting in or out. I thought the overall room environment was clean and the mattress wasn't too depressed. I look in the refrigerator and found a food tray on the very top shelf of the refrigerator. Inside was some very old blueberry cheesecake. I toss it and then it began to smell. I sat the trash basket into the hallway outside my door.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to people and I would stay here again. It looked like it was newly renovated. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very chatty and gave us good service. Especially the two guys who worked the evening weekend shifts at the front desk. The location is perfect , parking is in a garage across the street and many bars and restaurants are within waking distance. Very good value for money!
