This praise is not given to the boss, but to several service personnel. When I checked out on March 10, I forgot the wallet with Australian dollar cash and bank card in the room. When I went to the hotel again, my wallet was still there. In particular, I would like to thank a male young staff member who works on Sunday. I explained the situation, he took me to the room to find it, and found it. Thank you very much for this young man. Send this praise to him and other service staff. Thank you!

There's no bell boy to assist guest upon arrival and even up to the room. Basically this hotel is ”self-service” hotel. From carrying the luggages upon arrival to the room and out of the room (check out). You have to do it all by yourself by taking the trolley and upload those luggages on to it and bring it to your room. The same applies when you want to check out. Some of the reception staff are not friendly upon welcoming guest to the hotel. Upon our arrival at around 3pm (NZD time) , the reception staff seems not happy in welcoming us. When we asked them why there's no one to assist us on the luggages (5 luggages), and their response was ”they never assist anyone beyond the double entrance glass door”. We were so suprise with their response To be fair, there are other staff [the chef, manager and other reception staff that was on night duty (other than the one assisted us upon our arrival)] are very kind and friendly. They are happy to assist us whenever we have issue during our stay and they go beyond their duty by sharing a lot of tourism information which was very useful to us as tourist in Auckland, NZ.

The location is excellent, it is convenient to go anywhere in Auckland, next to the Sylvia park shopping mall, and the supermarket pak'n save, eating and shopping are complete. The hotel apartment is also equipped with open-air parking spaces, free of charge. The apartment is very new and clean, with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, refrigerator, washing machine dryer, hair dryer, Everything is available. Enter and exit according to the password, the gate of the community, the elevator, and the door of your own apartment are all passwords, which are very safe. The hotel is not equipped with slippers, you need to bring your own slippers. The price is a bit cheaper than the downtown hotel, but the price/performance ratio is too high with the happiness index.

For the extremely low price we paid to stay there's really nothing to complain about. So much parking space close to the hotel entrance so easy to get luggage in etc. Easy check in. Big room. Beds were comfy. Located close to everywhere we needed to be that weekend. Would love to have had things mentioned to us at check in that were listed in the room description on the website such as the breakfast option and shown where the spa was etc Thank you for having us =)

Issues reported were attended to quickly.

I have stayed here previously and at Ramada residences across NZ and Australia, this is the worst by far. The shower was not up to Marsden standard. Black mould around the shower interior and when you opened the shower door reminents of the previous client's showering was visible, definitely not cleaned thoroughly or kept up to clean standard . The shower over flowed - you had to lift off the shower drain cap to view even more mould so that the water would run down the drain. Highlighted this to reception with photos emailed they said they would get this looked at...came back to the room bed was made...shower still the same black mould. Absolutely disappointing

The hotel is the worst, the hardware is too bad, and the hot water has not been washed for a long time. Staying for one night when the transfer is okay, will not go later. Near the airport, it feels like a poor place outside Shenzhen, which is quite different from the urban area. It’s nice to have a large lawn and a place for kids to play around. There is a transfer machine.

The room is a serviced apartment with one bedroom and one living room. It has a kitchen and washing and drying equipment, and pots and pans are available for cooking. The apartment has staff to do cleaning every day. It is one of the few serviced apartments that can do cleaning. The room has heating, so you don't have to worry about the wind in winter! My second time staying in this hotel. The room was huge, with all necessary facilities in good condition. The fridge, microwave and electric kettle are quite handy. The location is very convenient, both for sightseeing and for getting to and from the airport. The largest and cheapest supermarket in the area (Woolworths) is also just a few hundred meters away. The only issue was a bit of noise from the traffic outside, but not too bad. Overall, great value for money.

I am very thankful got to stay at Airport Kiwi Motel as I left my bag on the yellow bus and reception gentleman helped me to track it back for me wothout missing anything. The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.

Was a good stay. Fair for the price.  Best part was the easy late check in and key lock box ect.  Amenities were slightly underwhelming as it had plates bowls cutlery ect but no place to wash them, also could do with a decent size bin considering you need to eat take out. Other than that it was a clean tidy room with plenty of space and place to put luggage. New towels everyday ect which is a nice to have. Would stay again

The location of the hotel is very good, just in the center of Auckland, it is very convenient to go everywhere. The Sky Tower and the Harbor Bridge can all be reached on foot. I am travelling with family with kids and elderly. The grand is probably the best central location that you can find in Auckland if you are taking public transport. The pickup and dropoff for Skybus to Auckland airport is a 5 min walk away. The surrounding has plenty of restaurants including japanese & Chinese food. Facilities wise it has a gym and a heated swimming pool which the kids enjoy. Room is clean & spacious. Hotel price wise is on a high but weighing all the plus points, I will book it again for all the reasons above.
