The staffs is friendly and helpful. The location is somewhat good, depends on where you are going. Very close to Saigon center. Everything else is about 10 minutes walk, Japanese town, flee market, bars, etc. The hotel itself is somewhat basic, not much to desires. The room lighting is bright, too bright (white) if you are a couples. A full size refrigerator is good for drinks and fruits. Depends on the price, I may or maybe be staying there again. Second stay on return after going to the Vietnam coast. Book it again as we are already very familiar with the location and good for shopping bring your things back and head out for more. Good location as you can go back for short rest in between shopping. This time the balcony has pop up wooden floors and is dangerous for cuts. Shower can improve with a curtain as water spray to floor from edge of bath tub making it very wet and slippery. All staff are very friendly and helpful.

I recently completed a three-night stay at M Hotel Saigon, and while my overall experience was satisfactory, I am deeply disappointed with how a particular situation was handled during my stay. I feel it is necessary to bring this to your attention to ensure that future incidents of a similar nature are managed more professionally. During my stay, I received a call from the hotel receptionist, informing me that a complaint had been made against me for making excessive noise at night and disturbing other guests. This accusation was both untrue and extremely embarrassing. I want to state clearly that I did not make any noise during the night. My partner and I were asleep, and the only possible sounds from my room were regular movements such as walking to the restroom or flushing the toilet—none of which could be considered excessive or disruptive. I have stayed at both M City Hotel and M Hotel Saigon multiple times this year, and this is the first time I have ever encountered such an issue. I expect the hotel to handle such complaints with greater care and discretion. Instead, I was put in a very uncomfortable situation where I was asked directly whether I had made noise or not, as if I had to defend myself against an unsubstantiated claim. Even after this incident, I decided to file a complaint with the hotel booking platform regarding the way this was handled. Shortly after that, when I returned to the hotel at night, one of your staff members approached me in the lobby and apologized. While I appreciate the apology, I still feel the need to bring this matter directly to the hotel’s attention because it highlights a significant issue in how guest complaints are handled. I believe that in situations like this, the hotel should conduct proper verification rather than immediately confronting a guest based solely on a complaint from another party. Making a judgment without any form of investigation not only creates an unfair experience for the accused guest but also diminishes the professionalism of the hotel’s service. I urge your management to review how such complaints are handled in the future. A better approach would be to verify the claim before reaching out to the guest, perhaps by checking security footage or monitoring noise levels before assuming wrongdoing. This would ensure a more fair and respectful experience for all guests. Furthermore, I initially sent an email regarding this issue but have received no response. The lack of acknowledgment only adds to my disappointment. Since my concerns have been ignored, I have no choice but to express them publicly through this review. I sincerely hope your management will take this matter seriously and improve your complaint-handling process to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Cute little hotel right in the heart of things. A few minutes walk from the Opera House (the A O Show is fantastic!!), War Remnants Museum, Post Office, Independence Palace and Ben Thanh market. The hotel itself is on the main road down a little laneway. The room was fine - clean and comfortable- staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast cafe. was good with fresh fruit, cereals, egg station etc. Good air con. Overall very pleased and would be happy to stay again. Pro-tip: ask for a room away from the elevator shaft. It’s a little noisy and sounds like a train - sort of, but didn’t disturb us too much it has to be said.

Amazing breakfast(taste and choice). Good rooftop. Great concierge. Perfect location. Overall it was good but some very specific points of improvement : - They have a weird green light in the room always on, apparently it's the emergency exit light(the thing you're supposed to have in *public* corridor). Except it's way too bright to sleep and it wasn't on during my first night. They can't turn it off. No idea why they have it inside the room. No other hotels I've been in HCM or the rest of Vietnam have this. This is pretty awkward design as no one can miss the exit direction in 20 sqm even with smoke. - The curtain can't close completely/efficiently so if you're on the east side you'll be bothered by the sunlight quite early. - I didn't take the breakfast for the last night but they automatically charged me the price on my deposit. They had no way to control if I took or not the breakfast, so I had to insist. Not something you like to waste your time on at checkout time. - the wifi was poor(multiple time had the message ”will reconnect when the signal will be better” while the signal looked strong). Also can't connect a Nintendo switch to the wifi.

Just like online reviews are a clean and quiet hotel, walking out of the alley is the downtown area, food, clothing, housing and transportation are very convenient. The only downside is that the double room is in a high-rise building and there is no elevator to take. If the luggage is too heavy or people who are not used to walking too many stairs, it is recommended to book a triple room.

The room rates in Ho Chi Minh City are higher than those in Hanoi and Nha Trang. This hotel is a bit like a domestic express hotel, but it has a good location and is quiet in a busy city. None of us can speak English, let alone Vietnamese. We had fully communicated with Ctrip customer service before, and we were also worried that poor communication would affect our check-in. Ctrip customer service was very responsible and friendly, helping us to let the hotel book transportation on our behalf, and we arrived at the hotel smoothly from the airport. The girl at the hotel front desk was very gentle and patient. She used the translator and gestures to successfully check in and check out. The front desk also helped to book an online taxi to the airport. In short, the hotel service is very good. Let me talk about some areas that can be improved: 1. There is no luggage rack in the room, and the suitcase can only be placed on the ground, which affects the cleanliness (and because the untidiness will affect the cleaning effect) and is inconvenient to take things; 2. There is no socket in the bathroom, and it is inconvenient to charge the electric toothbrush and use the hair dryer; 3. I still like white bedding, which looks cleaner. I don’t know if it is due to different countries. However, if you stay longer, it's not bad. You can go downstairs to get three meals a day. There is also a coffee shop. I recommend the barbecue in the alley. I especially like the grilled crab legs. Paired with beer, it's so comfortable!

Good location and spacious rooms! We spent three nights in the hotel, the main sights are about a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool, children's playground and gym were a big plus. The staff were always helpful and friendly. However, one negative aspect was the breakfast: I have rarely seen such a loveless and tasteless selection. Even the coffee was a disaster! From the second day onwards, we skipped breakfast at the hotel and ate out. Conclusion: We would definitely stay there again, but would not book the breakfast again.

An excellent place to stay in the heart of Saigon. As soon as I walked I the welcome I got was fantastic. I was early but the guy at the front desk allowed me to check in but while I waited for a short time I could use the pool upstairs and even got a complimentary drink.
