Obviously, I don't expect much from a capsule. But one would expect just a place to sleep and clean towels provided. I am almost sure this place does NOT clean the bed sheets because I found garbage on the side of the bed. Had they switched to new bed sheets, one would easily see it. What's worse was their towel. The face towel was fine but the body towel was quite disgusting but I didn't realize it until after I showered. There were brown and red stains on it as well as a hole. I'm not sure why they think it's okay to give that to their guests even if this place was so cheap. The shower stall was dirty, almost no shampoo even though I showered at 5pm and they finished cleaning at 3pm or something and the stall I went to was not wet meaning no one showered there before I did. The extra towels weren't refilled either. Pretty much, if you expect just a place to sleep (maybe bad sleep) then it is fine considering the price. But bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste and towels too. I know it was a cheap deal, but surely enough, no one would mind paying a few extra bucks if they needed it for better and thorough cleaning. Even pre-covid times, this should be the norm. But during covid period? Why would you not clean the place? The guy seemed nice but no communication when I needed him in the morning of check out because no one was there and no one picked up for over 10 minutes. Please search $11 Korean Capsule Hotel to see my experience on YT. This was bad only based on my experience. Perhaps you may have a different one from mine.

The location is good. There’s many delicious restaurants near the hotel or they are just a 5 min walk. The subway station is 10-12 mins walking distance. If you’re with a suitcase, plan accordingly. The room is clean and comfortable. It has a washing machine and a kitchen so it’s convenient. All in all good stay.

A hotel in a unique location for exploring Seoul using public transport or on foot. Many shops and restaurants around the hotel allowing you to stock up on food, clothing, or cleaning supplies. In the immediate vicinity, there is an airport bus stop (approx. 300-400 metres), which is an additional advantage of this location. The hotel staff are helpful and smiling, and tourist guides and maps in many languages are available in the lobby. Room clean, nevertheless its area and setting are not functional for larger families (room for five people). Recommended for short and intensive trips to Seoul.

the shower celling is SUPER low so if you are above 170cm I don't think you'd be able to get a proper shower in. the shower head is also on a fixed height is you can't adjust it. overall the hotel is quite clean except for some mold stains in the shower ceiling and the vents. however it is quite a distance away from the train station and there are roughly about 10 steps of stairs.

The location of the hotel is very close to the Chungmuro subway station. There are many convenience stores, restaurants, and the airport bus is also very convenient. This hostel is the so-called examination center in South Korea. The rooms are very small and the beds are very small. It is slightly larger than the train sleeper. It's okay to stay for a few days. The room has a bathroom and rain, but the place is very small, but the price is cheap, can not be too high. The biggest inconvenience is that there is no elevator, and it is tiring with a lot of stuff, but overall my stay is okay.

I stayed here with my Korean boyfriend for 4 nights and 5 days in April 2024. The nearest station is Euljiro Saga Station on Line 2, so it was perfect for me since I usually hang out along Line 2 in Hongdae and Seongsu. I was also happy that there was a coffee stand at the station and a 7-Eleven on the first floor of the hotel! There were some parts of the room that I thought were not cleaned properly, but since it was a long stay and I was looking for a hotel with a washing machine and a reasonable price, I was very satisfied and comfortable! He said, ”It really feels like a Korean house,” so it might be good for people who want to feel like they are living in Korea? lol However, it is a bit of a walk from the station and the area around the hotel gets quite dark at night, so if you are staying alone as a woman, you should be careful to return before the sun goes down. I forgot about the amenities because it had been a while since I stayed there, but if you tell the front desk if there is not enough water or towels or if they have not been replaced, they will kindly help you 😊 I think the front desk is open after 10pm? I don't think there were any guests there late at night, so be careful about that. I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity!

Apartment hotel, very new, according to the introduction, it opened in 2004. The hotel is very quiet and conveniently located, whether by bus or subway, it takes no more than ten minutes to walk. The access control in the hotel lobby and the door to the room are all password locks, which can be operated by yourself, and you don't need to meet the owner throughout the process. The hotel is fully equipped with washing machines, dryers, air conditioners and fresh air systems, as well as beautiful glasses and complete kitchen facilities. The room is very simply furnished, with a round table and four chairs in the living room, two beds in two rooms, a dressing table in the larger room, wardrobes in both rooms, and an automatic drying and ironing device in the small room, which can dry clothes while making them brand new. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, but the bath water will overflow from the bottom of the bathroom. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are all available. I checked online and found that it is a local brand, anti-hair loss, and it is very good to use. I originally wanted to buy a set to take back. The supporting facilities are all provided according to four people, but there is one thing that is strange. I booked a room for three days, but only got mineral water once. If I booked once a day, should four bottles be delivered every day? Overall, it is a very good accommodation experience. Because it is a new store, the facilities are new and clean. There is still some smell after the decoration in the wardrobe. In addition, laundry detergent is not provided. In addition, the price was reduced three days after booking, and I paid more than 400 yuan. Next time, I should book one day at a time. I basically didn't take pictures. The seller's photos are very realistic. I only took pictures of shampoo and cups.

The boss is very nice. Chinese people can communicate with the landlord on WeChat, which is very convenient! ! There will be staff to help carry your luggage! I was lucky enough to live on the top floor. The view was great, not noisy at all, and the facilities were complete, including a hot water microwave and a washing machine! There are even adapter plugs available! ! The street downstairs is very bustling, and there are also convenience stores. There are many Chinese people living around, and there is no need to worry about the language environment. It is very close to Myeongdong, and it only takes ten minutes to walk.

The Fairfield by Marriott Seoul offers a comfortable and affordable stay in the Yeongdeungpo district, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. Its location near Yeongdeungpo Station provides easy access to major Seoul attractions, while also being close to shopping destinations like Times Square Mall. The hotel features modern, well-maintained rooms, though they tend to be compact, offering essential amenities such as mini-fridges and flat-screen TVs. Guests appreciate the hotel's cleanliness, efficient service, and the added convenience of a small fitness center. However, the limited dining options and small room sizes may be drawbacks for some. Overall, it's a budget-friendly option that maintains Marriott's standard of quality in a central location.

I used it on my first solo trip. It's within a 10-minute walk from Jamsil Station, about 500-600 meters away. Go straight out of Exit 6 (if you have heavy luggage, I recommend Exit 2, which has an escalator), turn left at the intersection with the Olympic-like object, and continue straight along the street. (I arrived without getting lost even though I'm directionally challenged lol) There were two men at the front desk during my stay, and both were very nice. They only spoke a little Japanese, but they tried their best to communicate with gestures and using a papago. The room I was shown didn't have a bathtub, so I asked at the front desk. It had been about 30 minutes since I checked in, so they were hesitant at first, but they eventually changed it for me. It's better to tell them right away if it's different from what you booked! (They upgraded it a lot, including the bathtub, so they may be quite casual about that. It was good that they changed it, but I don't think it's good to be the first to say it.) I stayed alone in a two-person room for less than 10,000 yen on a weekday in late April. The bed was spacious (for one or two people), clean, and there was a window, so it was very nice. Insect spray was also provided. There were extra towels and other things in front of the front desk, so please feel free to use them if you needed them. There was no information about the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, but I was able to use the one with my room number without a password. There were also plenty of charging cords for smartphones. A conversion plug is required to use the Japanese outlets, but this was included with the rental Wi-Fi, so it wasn't an inconvenience for me. I was very satisfied with such a great price. There are many expensive accommodations around Lotte World, so I highly recommend it!

Hostel is brilliantly located about 5 minutes walk to Myeongdong. Bus stop to catch the airport bus is also 5 minutes away. Hostel itself is up a sloping street (“cartoon street”) which has convenience stores, restaurants (including a 24 hour one!) and shops. Very convenient. Despite this, street is quiet; we had no problems with noise. The hostel is about 5 stories tall which includes the rooftop sitting area. Note no lift. Simple breakfast of toast and cereal available every morning in the kitchen on the (I think) 3rd floor or in the little reception area. Coffee and juice available too. Note no tea (bring your own!). Our family of 4 took 2 rooms across the corridor from each other. Rooms are small, simply furnished but comfortable and clean. Heated floors were a bonus! Each room comes with a little fridge. En-suite bathroom was clean. Rooms come with small hand towels; proper bath towels are available with a small deposit. Laundry service is also available for a reasonable fee. Staff were generally friendly and accommodating. There is a little welcome pack of treats when you arrive and a “goodbye” bag when you leave. A nice touch. Note there is a surcharge for using your credit card. All in all, a comfortable and clean place to stay in a great location and at a reasonable price.

2 nights (I added an extra day, so the room was different) I stayed an extra night, so the room was different. About a 15-minute walk from Yeongdeungpo Market Station on Subway Line 5. The subway is quite deep underground, like the Oedo Line, so you can easily get to the ground level by taking three elevators. The hotel lady is nice, but she doesn't speak Japanese. Please note that the button next to the light in the room is for heating only. There are two remote controls, and the red power button under the gray remote control is for air conditioning. There was no remote control in the room on the first day, so I pressed the switch on the main unit directly. The room has a hidden outlet hole behind the bedside desk. There is a built-in cord and a black USB outlet. The black one worked when I turned on my computer. There were three bottles of water, slippers (sometimes there are), a thin robe, one bath towel, and three small towels in the room. Toothbrushes, lotions, etc. (I don't know what they are, so I can't use them) The double room did not have a bathtub, but there was a shower attached to the top and a handheld shower. Check-out was at 12 o'clock, so I left the room early at around 7 o'clock, and when I returned at 10 o'clock, the room had already been cleaned.

I stayed here for 8 days. The reception staff were helpful and polite when we checked in, the lift's very fast. The room appeared clean and had good amenities, 2 bottles of water in the fridge, coffee machine, large bed, we loved the TV above the bath, kido loved the heated toilet. It looks clean, clean bed sheets, then I slide the bathroom door closed and it's pretty dusty. No problem, I grab a tissue and wipe it down, I have a dust allergy. We lost something in between getting out of the cab and sitting down in the room so I try to find it, I look under the bed, it's really dusty and also has rubbish from previous occupants. We could hear the traffic outside but it's a busy road and it's understandable, we didn't find it annoying. There are strict check in and check out times and they won't charge you extra if you stick to these, they need time to clean the room and get it ready (they do need to slide the bathroom doors and clean these though, and under the beds too). I had a shower the next day, the waterfall shower's not easy to use and there's no instructions, but there's a handheld shower head attached to the wall. Great, I thought, that will help, It would have helped, but there's no seal around the bottom of the shower door and there's a gap, and the shower head faced the shower door. 30 minutes later I magage to clean the large amount of water in the bathroom and around the toilet up using towels, and I pop downstairs to let them know there's a problem with their shower. They sent someone up right away, I explained the issue, the shower door is missing a seal, he says 'I can't sort that' and walks out. No more showers then. We get back from a walk at around 8pm, and there's a very high pitched whistle coming from the ceiling in our room. I check the lights, the air conditioning and it whistles for about 30 minutes so I pop to the reception desk and let them know. Someone comes up right away and lets us know it's a valve in the bathroom ceiling, there's a hatch, he opens it up, and it stops. Yay! 5 minutes later... yup, it's back. He comes back and adjusts the valve once again. It stops. 5 minutes later... yup. Then it stops. Until the following evening. I let reception know it's still happening, they send someone out, again, it stops, again, and starts, again a few minutes later. It stops and starts throughout the night, midnight, 1am, 4am, 9am. We're tired, I'm rather grumpy, so we ask to change rooms so we can sleep. They check with the manager and give us another room. The new room has a seal at the bottom of the shower, unfortunately their water fall shower lasts for 1 second if you try to use it as the handle on the door self adjusts. There's still dust on the sliding doors and under the bed. We're exhausted having had a pretty bad night due to the alarm, so we sleep, a lot. We didn't eat in the hotel, it's expensive, there's a little French baguette place not too far away and a Starbucks so we're sorted. The Nespresso only ha

The hotel is modern, super clean, well-run, and quiet. The rooms have stylish decor with many modern touches and amenities. It was nice to have a window that actually opened and my ”garden” view was lovely. I had a tranquil time with no odd interruptions from housekeeping, etc. The signage and guides for things like TV and neighborhood were cleverly done. While I appreciated the room safe, I felt very safe and comfortable in this hotel. There is greeter/staff person on the ground floor level, acknowledging every guest. I never say this post being ”ghosted” in my 4 nights there. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked like a nice option, if you will eat a buffet! The subway was close by, as well as a small grocery, ”Everyday Mart” which I was actually able to find on Google Maps. There is no pool here. I don't think this is a ”supreme” fun hotel for kids, as there is nothing special for them, but it was still good and relaxing. ( no kids with me on this trip). There are coffee shops and Olive Young, 7-11 in the basement. Very convenient. One thing to note- if you are doing medical procedures in Seoul, you have to leave your ice packs at the front desk ( and go down and get them). Staff is very responsive, discreet, and quick to help you with the packs, regardless. That is a pretty big inconvenience, which is why I stayed elsewhere, but moved to this hotel shortly after I stopped needed an icepak all the time. The hotel will glady microwave your food, if needed. Would be nice to just have a communal microwave somewhere!

It's quite strategic and walking distance to the famous culinary and shopping center in Myeodong. A clean little hotel and one room can make 4 people (choose 4 people) at a very affordable price (it costs 1 jt per night). In the hotel building there is a 24-hour mini market and surrounded by many restaurants and easy to ride public vehicles such as buses and subway (subway). The room is not too big with a window to view the street. Small hotel towels size like hand towels (Korean hotel cotton). Bathroom showers are available with shampo and liquid soap. There is a water heater for coffee/tea, a small refrigerator, hair dyer, a small flat TV with many channels of Korean station, a medium size mineral water 4 bottles. Small hotel lobby goes up to the 4th floor. Just for sleeping and rest ok.

It’s a clean, decent, cosy hotel. It still look new and clean as opened in 2022. Staff are very friendly, and the hotel offer self-service locker for 24 hours storage. Only downside is somehow each train passed can feel from the room (10F), but once train closed, there is no problem. And air con is kind of energy saving mode, so on and off occasionally for temperature control.
