Bathroom waa musty and saw cockroaches, small ones. As it was nestled among trees, lots of critters which I don't mind, except was told on first day, there are monkeys, which kind of twrrified me. Overall, lacked ambience. Staff were superfriendly and warm.

There was a seven eleven pretty much directly next door which was perfect for snacks or a meal! The night I stayed, there was music playing at a place over the road which was very loud especially since my room looked out onto the road however it didn’t affect my sleep!

|11.13km from city centerHad this on offer for 3 nights at S$95. It’s low season and the hotel was pretty quiet (saw only 3-4 other guests and almost nobody at the swimming pool most of the time. Good thing is the service is fast and excellent.
My room was at the highest level and at the junction of the main road. It was of a decent size, clean but some things needed fixing during the off season. The balcony door could not be locked and one of the curtains was damaged but still managed to fully close. Someone next door could have climbed over but being just beside the main road would have discouraged that. The toilet paper holder was damaged but still somehow held on to dear life. The tap/faucet kept falling off, which is a huge annoyance. Hot water wasn’t hot enough. In fact it was barely warm which meant that I didn’t turn on the cold water at all to shower! The bathroom had a sliding door which kept opening if not locked, and that hid the wardrobe and safe box which I struggled to find after checking in. There wasn’t any lights in the wardrobe. Air conditioning was noisy even at the lowest setting. My room was at the junction of the main road which meant there was a bit of noise but it didn’t bother me much.
The great feature was the small pool. It’s clean and regularly maintained. I saw people check the water condition during my stay. From my side of the hotel, it is only accessible by stairs. The hotel also provides a basket with a beach mat and 2 towels, which is a lovely gesture. I’m unsure how they get returned and cleaned though as there are no instructions and also no towels or towel baskets at the pool.
Overall, the stay tolerable with no show stoppers. If they can fix the above issues then the stay would be perfect!

|17.51km from city centerI recently stayed at Tupkaek Sunset Beach Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with modern amenities that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. But what really took my breath away was the stunning view of the ocean and the sunset from my balcony - it was truly breathtaking and made my stay unforgettable.
The food at the resort was also delicious, with a variety of dishes that catered to different tastes and preferences. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. In particular, Noom was an exceptional host, making me feel at home and ensuring that I had everything I needed during my stay. I noticed that he help a lot of the other guests too.
However, there were a couple of things to be aware of during your stay. Firstly, I would recommend avoiding taking a taxi from the hotel as it can be quite expensive compared to the rates you would find outside the resort. Secondly, I had some trouble with the night shift receptionist who was quite rude and unhelpful. If you need anything during the night, it may be best to speak with the daytime staff instead.
Overall, I highly recommend Tupkaek Sunset Beach Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Krabi. With its beautiful rooms, stunning views, delicious food, and friendly staff (especially Noom!), it is truly a gem in the area.

The room is clean, as long as you don't eat in the room, you won't be tempted. Do not provide disposable dental equipment, you need to bring your own. There is a small table and a clothes rack on the balcony, which is very convenient. For breakfast, order a staple food (you can choose from a variety of sandwiches, seafood porridge, omelettes), toast and fruit, and coffee is instant. The variety is not particularly large, but it can guarantee nutrition and fullness.

|11.06km from city centerTimber House was conveniently located right on the main road where many bars, restaurants, and shops were, and across the street from the beach. It was about 8 minute drive from the port, 40 minute drive to the Krabi Airport, and 1 mile walk to the Monkey Trail. My sister and I stayed in a double twin bed room, which was very spacious and the air conditioning worked well. We both became very ill with food poisoning our first night and the room was a comfortable place to be immobile for 48 hours. The water from the faucets and showers had a weird smell and taste, and the pool water was a strange shade of green at some points, but those were our only complaints with the hotel itself. The breakfast had a great selection (not for someone with food poisoning but under different circumstances we would’ve loved it), and the front desk was very helpful. I believe we could’ve booked excursions through them, but we did not try. If we weren’t so traumatized by our Krabi experience and were brave enough to revisit and risk a second round of food poisoning, we would definitely stay at Timber House again.

We booked a deluxe jacuzzi room, spacious, well equipped, all things working fine.
Limited options at breakfast buffet if you are vegans. Hope the hotel can improve this. However the chef team at dinner seem to get it better as vegan food was delicious and there were many options to choose from (we stayed 3 nights, ate there every night)
You also get 10% discount on food if you book your table with the staff beforehand.
Perfect beach, clear water with water activities available. Helpful staffs.

There is a fat dog who likes air conditioning. Because the house is wooden, you must pay attention to walking lightly on the upper floor. I don't think it is suitable for young people to stay together for a party. Sound insulation is not easy to disturb others. If you are a quiet person or a quiet couple, it is a good place to stay here. Neighbors are a net red restaurant, many foreigners specially take a car to eat. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the beach.

It's cheaper and much nicer than all the other hotels I stayed at on any of the islands, or in other areas of Krabi! There's also a yoga place that's connected to the property. I highly recommend attending those classes, as well!

|9.6km from city centerWe have made with 2 different name for our booking, during check in there is some problem with the booking that have been made, room that we have booked suppose to be 3 person and when check in it only show for 2 person each, we have to add extra 700bath per night for two person, which are not the problem since, we didn't know how its happen.
The problem start with the old lady at the counter (Wearing Glasses) that are very rude, during trying to sort the problem happen, she are not fluent in English but every time trying to talk to the others person she will interfere and making thing hard to everyone. Close to the street markets, 7E and some money changers. I like this Aonang Buri Resort, despite that time have some renovation but had well informed by the staff. Credit to give is The service given from the staff was great, they’re very nice and friendly as that’s the uniqueness of Thai people. Overall, i enjoyed the stay in this resort and definitely will comeback!

🥺 What we didn't like:
- rooms facing the main road are very load, impossible to sleep with big bikes and trucks roaring 24/7. After one sleepless night - thanks to the stuff - we changed the room to the one facing a quiet road.
Tip: ask for a room with one bed (the ones with 2 face the main road)
- on the last floor there are water pumps and some air machines that supply the hotel, so every time someone used a toilet / took shower /turned on air vent - those machines started making loud noises in our room

They have a pick-up that takes you to and from the beach for free, although you can take a walk through the market and the shops (30 minutes slowly). The cabins are spacious, cozy and very well acclimatized. I would repeat without hesitation.
