The location of the hotel is 100 meters from the train station, the city center, the room can accommodate three families, the second floor attic also has a top floor terrace, the room has more than 100 square meters, a separate kitchen, two toilets, and a jacuzzi. Zurich can hardly imagine such a value-for-money apartment (the average hotel room area in Zurich is 14-15 square meters). After setting, pay attention to receiving emails. It is a large apartment. There is no sign at the door. You can enter the apartment by entering the password given in the email. Floor and room! If you are traveling with a group of friends or family, highly recommended

The service is good, but the facilities are old. I booked a triple room with a very simple folding bed. I didn't dare to move it. The room with a clean, spacious, and beautifully designed room that’s well-lit, plus great-smelling toiletries, convenient amenities like wireless charging. The hotel nearby have COOP supermarket and McDonald's. The hotel even has a cinema on the first floor with daily 8 PM showings. Room was clean and surroundings have plenty of food and shops. Supermarket is also a stone’s throw away. We got a nice view of the river. Only thing was we had to wait an hour before we could check in as the room wasn’t ready, but the staff compensated us with late check out the next day. No complaints other than that!

The location is very good, very close to the train station, a few minutes' walk away, the service staff is very friendly, the western breakfast has everything, the sanitary conditions are also very good, there are quite a few Chinese people staying here, the breakfast is mostly Chinese and English, but not many German and French. This hotel is perfectly located just across the road from the Sihqual Bus Terminal, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. I booked a day tour to Grindelwald and Interlaken, and it was an amazing experience (highly recommend!). There’s also a direct bus from the terminal to several famous attractions, which was a huge plus. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, spoke excellent English, and even offered free refreshments in the lobby. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a great shower system, and the soundproof doors and walls ensured a peaceful night’s sleep. With a supermarket and Starbucks right beneath the hotel, it’s one of the best stays I’ve had!

We came with two young kids and stayed for 3 nights. It was perfect! First of all, the location of the hotel cannot get any better - short walking distance from the train station, right in the center of the city, close to all types of public transport, and we were very pleasantly surprised to discovered that it is just across the street from a nice little cinema. The service was excellent. We came a little early, before our room was ready, but had free ice-cream in the lobby to keep us refreshed as we waited. The room was very spacious (although rather hot, despite the air-conditioning), and the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely return.

Good location that is near the railway station. The room is in reasonable size as it is near the city center. Breakfast is good with fresh bread, fruits, and coffee. The chocolate fountain for free treats at the reception is really an attraction. Service at the front desk is superb. Will come and book the hotel again in the future.

Located in city center. About 8min walk from Zurich HB to hotel, if you carry a lot heavy baggage, you can take tram from Zurich HB station to Central ( only 1 stop ) from there only 1-2 min walk to hotel, very convenient! Around the hotel there’s a lot shops and restaurants, only walking distance.

Helvetia Hotel exceeded my expectations, offering a much better experience than suggested by the photos on the booking site. The place is impeccably clean—even the shower screen was nearly spotless. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest. The bathroom was brightly lit and generous in size, with shampoo, soap and body lotion in different glass bottles. I particularly appreciated the cozy common room near the lobby, where guests enjoy a cup of Nespresso or tea, courtesy of the hotel. The location is convenient, with a large supermarket just a one-minute walk away and at least two cafes within walking distance. However, it’s about a 15-minute walk from the main station, which might be a consideration for some travelers. Overall, it’s a solid choice, and I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Zurich.

As it is on the name, this a quite the budget hotel, amentity wise toilet paper, all in one body wash and a tv. The bedsheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. There was not so much noise in the room. There are three hotels in the big building and there are two hotel of the same name, so dont get confused, the tram 4 is directly in front of the hotel, so after 10 min ride, you are in the city center.

Very conveniently placed near a trem hub station.. a lot of bakery , restaurant , and supermarkets in the area. The room is a bit packed but given that the hotel has been built for a long time ago, but the buildings has been renovated to a nice standard.. The staffs is very helpfull & very accomodating. To a poin of giving us an earlier check in (which is very uncommon in swiss) because they concerned of how tired we looked when we arrived at the hotel

Modern hotel with cosy rooms. Distance from Zurich HB train station is about a 15mins walk. iPad is used to control most of the functions in the room. We had issues with the Chromecast in our room and the hotel staff, Viktoriya, came to our rescue. The issue was not fixed but she was quick enough to offer another room, which turned out to be bigger, and we were able to binge watch our Netflix korean drama. We are very appreciative of Viktoriya's help and how she resolved the issue professionally. Highly recommend this hotel!

The first hotel in Switzerland (six in total), this one should be the most broken. Fortunately, the price is cheap, which is also an advantage. The enthusiastic front desk fat brother said in the comments, I also met, very caring, at first glance it means him! The good: (1) Price is decent, located 1 stop away from Zurich HB. Also has Coop and Migros nearby. Some restaurants around the train station but not many choices. (2) Bed and pillows are very comfortable The not so great: (1) No kettle provided, so don’t expect any free coffee / tea in the room, which you will normally expect. You need to get down to the lobby to get hot water which is super inconvenient (2) No fridge in the room, so expect to consume all cold drinks etc unless you want lukewarm drinks (3) No safe in the room Technically, expect a super basic room with just bed, tv and toilet. Not something I expect from a Mercure brand.
