Real old world charm The best part are the hosts - Mark & Claire. They really make a personal effort. And the fantastic breakfast serves to your table is a real treat. The entire set-up has real character. Great location next to the stream perfect for a brisk stroll.

Excellent location, all the restuarants and bars are within five minutes walk. As well the Birks o' Aberfeldy are literally across the road. Lovely room, decent bed and breakfast was quality. Everything about the area is on tap. We just parked up and adventured; or in my case dissappeared around Loch Tay and up and over Ben Lawers into the glen.

Three night return visit, stayed last September and as per our last visit everything was absolutely spotless. Fantastic spacious room with king size bed. Breakfast was excellent as usual and perfectly cooked. On our last afternoon we chilled out in the lovely garden. Couldn’t recommend this B&B highly enough!

Lovely B&B close to the centre of Aberfeldy. Very comfortable, well appointed rooms and fabulous breakfast. Knowledgeable suggestions for walks and activities offered. Very highly recommended if you're thinking of a stay in Perthshire.

Having stayed at Balnearn House previously I didn’t look at anywhere else when returning to Aberfeldy. As before, Claire and Mark were friendly, welcoming hosts who provided a high standard of accommodation and service. The B & B is immaculately clean and has a lovely guest lounge that we enjoyed later in the evening. Breakfast is of a very good quality with a range of options on offer to suit all tastes and appetites. Lovely location too, the Birks of Aberfeldy accessible from across the road, alongside lovely gardens at the house. Plenty off street parking too. All round winner!

We had a delightful stay at the Balnearn House near the Birks of Alberfeldy. The house and gardens are lovely, our twin room was comfortable, the owners delightful, and the breakfast tasty. Walking distance to the Birks and to the high street for restaurants for dinner. I highly recommend.

Forget the petty negative reviews! Our three night stay was absolutely wonderful. We had a warm welcome on arrival and our room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely with a good choices and perfectly cooked. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and accommodating. On one of the afternoons during our stay we sat out on the fantastic garden which has covered seating. My wife and myself would thoroughly recommend Balnearn House to stay.

We stayed for two nights in the Balnearn house and that where two fine nights. At first the house is beautiful the garden is even finer and the hosts where top. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back on occasion. A last but not least point is the sitting room for the guests. A beautiful place to spend your evening
