We were walking the West Highland Way and were tired after our first leg. We were warmly greeted by Stuart who checked us in quickly. Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Our room was quite small, overlooking the main street, but it was quiet. It had a dramatic antler lamp shade, very Scottish. We had a lovely pint of Avalanche, before tucking into a delicious fish and chips. The batter was so light and the fish beautifully cooked. The mushy peas were thick and tasty while the home made chips were really nice (but far too many, I’d like to meet the person who could eat them all) Breakfast was mixture of self service for the cereal and waitress service for well cooked good quality hot food. It was a brilliant start to our walk. (If only the Rowandennan Inn, our hotel the following night could take a few tips of how to provide a great B&B experience)

Staying in Drymen whilst doing the West Highland Way. Popped into bar to watch football. Warm greeting by the kilt wearing barman ... Great host. Bar busy and friendly atmosphere. Wednesday is quiz night and my son and I were invited to take part. Smashing night. Recommended.

Lovely rooms and comfortable beds. The showers were a little tempremental in temperature but overall a great place to stay. Excellent dinner (my chicken, ham and leek pie was delicious) and breakfast and a good location, right in the middle of the village and easy to get to.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Drymen Inn with our Cocker spaniel Molly. Stuart, Jen and their staff couldn’t have been better. We were made to feel more than welcome. We were even invited out along with the hotel staff and the local community for a walk along the west highland way up Conic hill on New Year’s Day. What a day, we laughed all the way and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. I couldn’t recommend staying at the Drymen Inn highly enough. The food is excellent (we didn’t even eat anywhere else as it was so good and so reasonably priced), the entertainment on New Year’s Eve was fantastic, they made my wee dog Molly so welcome and quite simply couldn’t do enough for us. We have already booked for over New Year’s Eve next year and will very likely be back before that! Stuart, Jen and their staff were excellent hosts. Overall excellent in every way!!

First time visit and would definitely recommend. Excellent quality food, very good value for money and great service despite being a busy Saturday night. Highly recommended if staying in or passing through Drymen.

A quick stop on our hike of the West Highland Way. The staff was so kind and helpful. Our room was small but we knew that at time of booking. We enjoyed the end of our day in the pub. The food was exceptional! We were overstuffed at dinner and breakfast! Excellent fuel for our hike!

Excellent night away with our dog. Made so welcome at the Drymen Inn. Lovely little touches like the dog got a sausage for breakfast 🐾 Delicious breakfast and dinner- portions huge. Such a lovely atmosphere and staff cant do enough for you. We had eaten here several times before cause there are amazing walks nearby and of course it’s on the west highland way. Will definitely be back for another overnight stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful time here. First time I’ve been away since my husband died. All the staff were absolutely wonderful. I hasten to say that they didn’t know my circumstances. Everything was fabulous, food, service, friendliness. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you so much from Oscar and me
