The Crees Room Only No Bar or Restaurant Reviews

Have been here for lunch several times now with family and have never been disappointed. For a start, the Crees Inn is very dog-friendly, with the staff always making a fuss of my dog and brining her water and treats. The food is always fab….I had the Sunday Roast today - delicious. The staff really make this place though, they are all so friendly, chatty and attentive and really make the atmosphere special. Well worth the drive out to Abernethy

What a find! We stayed because we were taking a tour of the nearby Lindores Abby Distillery. I am so glad that we did. The rooms are cozy. The service is above and beyond. The restaurant food was wonderful with a diverse menu. The breakfast could not have been better. Everything is cooked to order and fabulous!

We’ve been looking for our “go to place” for a few months now and we finally found it. Our doggy was welcomed as well and got lots of attention from staff, who were absolutely brilliant and lovely. I’m not sure what the blonde bartender name was but she was an absolute star making me a margarita which was probably one of the best ones I’ve had! We ordered a cake & basket of chips and it was really nice and very big portions. Prices are very reasonable and the place has a very cosy atmosphere. We will be bringing our friends and family there and definitely will be there quite often!

The food in this place makes up for the small rooms that are in need of modernisation. The owner is delightful while the waiting staff are curt but efficient. An excellent place for a one night stop over to break a journey but not a place for more than one or two nights.

Fantastic hotel, location perfect, quaint but authentic village, 5 mins from M90, hospitality really friendly, bar restaurant warm and cosy, steak pie phenomenal, prices are really reasonable and room was immaculate and lovely! We will be back.

Hundreds of restaurants in Perthshire and I would go out of my way to go to The Crees Inn every time. Outstanding food and drinks and the friendliest staff. My blue steak is cooked perfectly every time. The Crees is very cosy and welcoming. Will be back ☺️

Stayed here for one night in July. What a superb little hotel this is tucked away in Abernethy. Dinner was top range pub grub in a beautifully decorated dining room/bar area, breakfast was very tasty and filled us up for hours! The room was lovely with a super comfy bed and nice clean bathroom. Staff were super friendly too. Highly recommend this wee gem of a hotel. My only complaint was that it was raining so we couldn't sit outside!

We have enjoyed our one night stay overall. Especially liked the dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast. We followed other travellers advice and ordered the pie and did not regret it. Delicious! Plentiful and very tasty Scottish breakfast too. We were not over the moon with a room. Although expected for the inn the room to be small, but it was really tiny, with no space to put our things (the owners offer to put the cases in the hallway). The bathroom can be fitted with a few hooks too. The room was clean though. The village is nice and full of history. We enjoyed our evening walk there.

Comfortable rooms, great beds and wonderful food. Really nice village pub with rooms. Staff cannot do enough to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was quite delicious; freshly made and plentiful. Definitely recommend and only a few minutes from Perth and all the tourist attractions around the area

We have recently just stayed overnight at this quaint village inn. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal which was delicious and enjoyed the high quality food. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean .Thank you Grant and Lisa for a lovely time Our breakfast was superb too. Will definately return

Stayed at The Crees for overnight stay. Staff were welcoming and very hospitable and friendly. . Food was excellent, fresh, hot, with generous portions. Restaurant and bar was quaint with a lovely ambience. Room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was second to none, again, the quality of the food was amazing. Also very reasonably priced considering the quality of food. The owners deserve the credit for this hidden gem, we will definitely be returning .

Stayed here as had a wedding nearby for two nights with my partner. Lovely rooms, pleasant staff and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great as well. We also had a large family meal here which was brilliant! Very reasonably priced and great drinks selection.

Quaint little village and the crees Inn is a must to stay in the beds are very comfortable food amazing . Grant and Lisa. Thank you for making our stay so complete you made us feel like we were part of a family . I would recommend to family and friends a small place with a big personality. I cannot wait to visit again during a business trip.

The food was delicious the service was great and the decor of the dining area was lovely. Had the apple and ginger crumble which was the best crumble o have ever had! I need the recipe chef please! Katrina served us with a smile. Would definitely go back.
