Holiday Inn Express & Suites ABILENE by IHG

The property was just ok for the price. $350 for one night is crazy for this hotel. Pool drained with brown water at the bottom made for a terrible view. Very dated but overall just ok. Beds were clean and staff were very pleasant! Would not book again only because of price point.

Staff is great, the property however is very poor. Multiple light bulbs were missing form the lights in my room. The TV was missing the remote and fully unplugged form the tv sources. The gym had a quarter of the options shown in the pictures. Would not stay again.

It was convenient off the interstate however, the room needed some maintenance. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall, there where cracks in the ceiling, the table was broken and the wires for the AC were exposed. If our party planned in staying longer than one night we would have moved to another hotel.

Booked a room months in advance for 2 queens….they only had a king with a sofa bed when we got there. Dead roach in the bathroom upon arrival. Most of the toiletries in the bathroom were empty. Room was super dusty and didn’t seem clean in general. Holes and scuffs in several areas on the walls. 2 towels in the room despite us clearly having 3 people. Everything seemed old and not updated.

The room was clean but definitely could use some updating. The second day we came down for breakfast over 20 minutes before it was supposed to be over and there was literally nothing left.

Comfortable room. The blackout shade was broken when we got there but my handy husband took it down and fixed it

Air conditioning good and quiet. Had issue with TV with no signal but staff fixed it, however the internet box and connections were just dangling from the back of the TV.

The room was clean, but we had to wait 10 minutes to get in it. Even though it was already 4 PM. However everyone was friendly and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was average but tasty. I did enjoy the biscuits and sausage.

Upon arrival, one of our keys would not work. Had to go back down to lobby and get corrected. Then again the next day it happened again. When turning on bathroom light, the exhaust fan come on and was very noisy, annoying. Breakfast, Maybe a couple of tablespoons of eggs were left. The next morning, the coffee canister empty and decaf was barely luke warm. Limited power outlets. Did not enjoy this stay at all.
