L'Eola Suites

I loved this hotel. It's in the building where my favorite Nigerian show was shot so I was excited to be there. I would go there again in the future.

Service is ok, I don't like the food though

The room was fine but there is not really any hotel structure like lobby and the gym was tiny and not so well equipped. There is little in walking distance from the hotel. Friendly people though!

The how-to-get-to, and the location of hotel is not much to be desired! No hotel sign from the roadside; very unusual and nerve racking (can you imagine this ss first timer for a female clientele?). Secondly and even though I was given a penthouse upgrade, didn’t know why, the room appeared tucked away in a nondescript side of the building. Later shocked to learn no onsite restaurant! I tried ordering dinner with several, none available menu items, it then took forever. Had to cancel order after over an hour's wait. Made due with airline snacks of the day to bed. Not sure if enjoyed their toilet bowl leaking sound all through my stay. It wasnt relaxing to say the least. Besides their staff and having stayed at Lagos joint once, this Abuja location left some sour taste in my taste buds.

The staff was very courteous and responsive to requests. However, almost all dishes I ordered was heavy on curry which made it inedible.

Back to its best. First time back in a few years and I was more than pleased with what I encountered. My flight in was delayed and by the time I arrived at the hotel, my room key was ready and I was able to go straight to my room. The room was in good condition and as comfortable as I remembered. The maintenance issues that led me to stop staying here appeared to have been addressed.

Nice room, nice staff, but no walk-in restaurant on site and no airport shuttle service.
