This hotel is a scam. We booked a room through Ctrip, but the front desk clerk, a plump girl, said she hadn't received any information from Ctrip and asked us to pay a deposit before checking in. We paid a $500 deposit in an envelope. When we checked out the next day, only $400 was returned in the envelope. We requested a CCTV check to see what happened next.

Check-in is not always smooth. They told me not to worry because the room was ready, but it was in another building across the road. After waiting 30 minutes, I was shown to a twin room, which was not in a separate building after all. And it had no bathtub. I booked a double room, and have stayed in hotels with bathtubs dozens of times, but this was the first time I stayed in a room without one. When I entered the room, the TV screen said "Welcome" in the name of two strangers. It was obviously a lie that the room was ready. I was tired from work and checking in, so I didn't have the energy to ask for a different room and stayed for two nights. The hotel facilities and service are good though.

The hotel looks OK, but the facilities are average to be honest. The facilities inside the room are also average, the soundproofing is very poor, and the service is really bad. On the first night, there was music playing in the hotel lobby, which was very noisy in the room. I called the front desk and they said it would end at 10 o'clock, but it was not over until 10:30. I called the front desk again and they asked if I had left the door of my room open. Later they said it would not end until 12 o'clock in the evening, which seriously affected my sleep.
