BOYUE Hotel

There are some good points, but the breakfast really isn't one of them. I went down for breakfast at 8:30 AM (which isn't that late, right?) and there was hardly anything to eat. The congee was cold! The bathroom had no soap or hand soap, only shower gel for handwashing. The phone was broken, and the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting. While I know accommodation in Ethiopia can't be compared to China or other countries, surely hand soap is a basic necessity? It's quite frustrating! The front desk staff seemed quite unresponsive. I had made a reservation beforehand, with a credit card to pay later, but they told me my reservation hadn't gone through and insisted I pay for the room! Even showing them my Trip.com hotel confirmation didn't help. It wasn't until I asked them to check the reservation number the next day that it was sorted out. The only positive thing was the 24-hour shuttle service, which certainly saved a lot of hassle. I hope other aspects can be improved!

The hotel is quite old, and the facilities are a bit outdated. Plus, service in Africa tends to be a bit slow.
