Vamos Addis Hotel

This is not good property to stay at, and I left for another hotel after an overnight stay. Standard of room was poor with many non working amenities that were disappointing. The room wasn’t clean but the sheets were clean enough to have a decent night’s sleep. There are currently road works outside and it’s hard to get into the hotel.

We stayed for one night for our layover. It was a good stay close to the airport And was off the main road, which was nice but also was on a random back road. The room was clean, but was kind of small/crowded. The gym and sauna were nice. Breakfast was mediocre, Mainly Ethiopian food, but you could order omelets which was nice.

Unfortunately there were building works around the Hotel to an extent that it was almost impossible to walk around without getting your shoes/trainers completely muddy. Also getting a taxi to pick up from the airport was very challenging due to poor access. Forget about walking in and out of the hotel in the evening, that would be a recipe for disaster. The room was very poorly maintained. The chests of drawers was falling appart, the bathroom was smelling of sewage and the soap tray was full of limescale. As I arrived very late, around 1am, I decided to sleep and found another Hotel the next morning. On the plus side they were very good in picking me up from the airport with the shuttle. It was a real shame they did not advise of the buildings and no effort in keeping the place to an acceptable standard.

The reception staff are helpful and kind. The hotel is super clean, has an amazing restaurant, and offers a gym and a free shuttle service to the airport. Its city-centre location makes it easy to walk around. Overall, it was a great experience.”

I didn’t have a good experience because the day I arrived, they notified me of a change of hotel simply because the hotel was flooded and the hotel where I was sent, I only suffered power cuts and I ended up in a room with two beds, needless to say that I slept very badly and that it was a very bad experience

water is not heated up. cheap but not a good facility.

Outstanding service! The manager is very nice and knowledgeable. He helps extra mileage to satisfy customers in order to make them comfortable to stay in the hotel. Receptionist and cleaning staffs are very helpful.
