This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in Addis Ababa so far. I booked everything through Trip.com, and the experience was great from the moment I arrived. I was met at the airport by the hotel’s shuttle, which took me directly to the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. Every staff member I interacted with was welcoming and went out of their way to assist me. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a luxurious feel. The bed was also very comfortable. The only issue I had was that my balcony door wasn’t locking properly. I reported it to the concierge, who assured me it would be fixed. There is also 24/7 security, so I still felt completely safe. The room had a safe as well, where I kept all my valuables. Breakfast is included and there was plenty of food available, although I personally wouldn’t recommend it. It was edible, but definitely not the highlight of the stay. One downside is the location. There aren’t many restaurants, shops, or activities within walking distance, so you’ll need to take a taxi to get to most tourist attractions and entertainment areas. This is definitely something to keep in mind if you prefer staying somewhere where everything is close by. That said, taxis are easy to arrange, and for the price you’re paying, this is still an excellent option. It’s affordable while giving you a comfortable, clean, and somewhat luxurious experience. Overall, I’d give this hotel 4/5 and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Addis Ababa.

Here is the revised review with those specific details added to highlight how much smaller the assigned rooms were compared to what you booked: 1/5 Stars – Terrible Communication and Unfulfilled Guarantees Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. I initially booked a one-night stay at Mazeki Addis Boutique Hotel to test it out before committing to a longer stay, specifically selecting a spacious 40m² room on a top floor with a city view. Per the hotel's rules, I attempted to contact them in advance. Despite calling (accounting for time zone differences) and messaging them two days prior to confirm my room preferences, they completely ignored my messages and never picked up the phone. When I arrived in person, I was told the hotel was completely full and that they were moving me to a different hotel within walking distance. Before agreeing, I clearly reiterated my exact requirements to both staff members at the front desk: a 40m² room on a top floor with a view. They assured me this wouldn't be a problem and promised I could select my room from the options at the new location. The staff member sent to escort me also confirmed he understood my request. Instead, I was shown two tiny rooms on the second floor with zero view—nowhere near the 40m² space I reserved. To top off the bizarre setup, they told me I would have to walk back to the original hotel every morning just to eat the included breakfast. Unprofessional management, broken promises, and zero regard for guest preferences or communication. Avoid this place if you value reliability and basic service.

When I called to hotel to check in there was nobody answering, I tried WhatsApp and left a message, I had to pay a taxi to get me to the hotel, only to find that the bus was sitting at the airport. The room was cold, no hangers in the wardrobe but it was clean. When I used the sink it started to leak. I asked for a transfer to airport in the morning to get me there for eleven am, I came down just after 10am to be told that the driver was on his way. The driver turned up 8 mins to eleven , I got to airport late and missed my flight, had to spend more money in another flight the next  day and another hotel to spend the night. A nightmare!!!

Very clean, close to many restaurants. 24 food service, it could be a bit quicker. Price was good. Return airport shuttle was good, but the pick up made me wait a very long time, but the drivers is actually work 24 hours. Shower water is OK, it could be warmer sooner. Staff are excellent, when I left I then gave every worker a tip because they were just excellent. The staff were always smiling. Thank you.

If you are looking for a quiet hotel, I do not recommend this hotel. There are some bars nearby that make big noise of music at night. The facility is old and sometimes have problems of water supply.

Nice and confortable small hotel. Staff are kind and attentive. Breakfast also good. I liked the hotel. Only problem I faced was that wifi was interrupted sometime.
