I stayed at this hotel from 27/04/2024 to 04/05/2024 (room 258). Everything is good here, especially for families with children. The hotel has one minus: it does not give full pleasure from your vacation. 1) Personnel who work with visitors' luggage in a hotel. He is always interested in gratitude money and clearly shows this to hotel guests. 2) The restaurant, which is located by the large pool, works great. But the restaurant is near the sea beach, the waiters also show that they want tips. Without receiving tips, they don't do their job. This is the first hotel where I am writing such a review. Very satisfied of the hôtel: room/ infrastructure / meal / hotel / staff / children activities… Everything is really clean / organized and as expected in a five star hôtel. I highly recommend to go there, with children or in couple.

All employees are very friendly and helpful. I felt super comfortable in every situation. The Rooms are very clean and big enough. It gets cleaned every day thats what i love. A little thing what i dislike was that in the Rooms where only 2 Sockets but it was okay.

We got to the hotel on the 12th May 23 when we walked in the hotel and surroundings were lovely we went to our room which was on the 1st floor and the room was very basic not what I would call a 5star, we went down to ask for an iron and ironing board to be told they do not have them due to fire reasons I have never heard anything so rubbish in my life then we was given a price list for the ironing to iron a dress was 8euros 6 euros for a shirt etc so in total for all we wanted ironing would of cost us over a hundred euros and we said we have never been to a hotel where they don't have an iron and the condescending response we got well that is what you get when you stay at a 5star hotel no when you stay at a 5star all the necessary things will be there we have stayed at 5star before and we had all those facilities and a trouser steamer and yes the hotel and surroundings may if been 5star but the rooms definitely was not. The waiters only looked after the elderly and the only reason they done this was for tips, if you get good service you will get tipped but when the waiters are rude you get nothing simpl. It was like they would prey on them I really felt like saying something because it was embarrassing to see. Also if you go all inclusive you have to pay for the contents in the mini bar which that should be included being a 5star all inclusive. If you are half board be careful as they don't provide you with water at meal times they charge you €5.90 per bottle which is disgusting water is a necessary and should be provided. The beach is the worst beach I have ever been to it is so stoney and when you go in the sea it is dangerous with all the rocks there was a few people that had bad cuts etc on there feet after going in the water. There are no signs warning people of this even the beach shoes you can buy don't protect you. We did not even go in the sea it was so bad. Also there was a cat with one eye and looked like it had mange and you would think a 5 star hotel would call a cat home or something to take the cat in it was so upsetting. Everything was far away and to do any activities was very expensive and you would of spent about 5 to 6 hours in total travelling. Also the air conditioning was very quiet but also useless we had to leave the balcony door open for air. We have stayed at 5star establishments before and if we compared to this hotel the others we have stayed in should be 8 star+++. The food was always cold the tea and coffee in the morning with breakfast was always lukewarm I like a hot drink to be hot. We are far from moaners and always review as we find and this is what we found weather wise we definitely had a good week they had rain the week before and next week is going to rain all week so we are so glad we went the week we did. I know the hotel is not responsible fir the weather I just wanted to add that on if we had gone and the weather was bad the holiday would of really been ruined as there is not really anything to do ther

Stayed five nights here after booking a relatively last-minute half board package deal through TUI. What a gem of a late find, an extremely well appointed and well looked after resort with staff who always displayed the upmost care and attention to detail across all departments. Stayed in one of the one-bedroom bungalow rooms away from the main building but right next to largest pool. However, you were never too far away from most on-site facilities and despite the size and scale of the hotel, it never felt overbearing or overcrowded. Choice and quality of food across resort was terrific. Service equally high. Staff again always happy to help out and advise on choices and dietary requirements. Ideal location as well next to beach and within accessible reach of Rethymno town and beachfront. Special praise to the guest relations team who not only helped advise and book local excursions but also arranged medical attention for my son at short notice too by liaising with nearby medical centre and pharmacy to get quickest available care. So much more that could also be said on quality of pool and spa, available choice from on-site restaurants and would echo many other positive reviews on here. Would definitely recommend and love to return one day.

A beautiful hotel in a picturesque location with amazing staff. We stayed in a family room with sea view and were fortunate to have our own terrace that led directly out to the pool and overlooked the beach. The room was spacious, and well equipped. It was a little tired in places in terms of the furnishings and bathroom but it didn't impact our stay. The room was cleaned everyday and the complimentary mini bar was restocked daily. There were 3 pool areas all very clean. We stayed at one of the smaller pools as it was directly outside our room. The bigger pool is gorgeous but beds are taken quickly. We were all inclusive and the food was lovely. There was certainly plenty choice for adults, but a little limited for kids some days (unless they like pasta in a tomato sauce, which our daughter doesn't). Quality of food was excellent, we especially loved the themed Greek night in the Taverna and the Italian buffet. The entertainment was a bit of a let down for a 5* hotel of this size, the outdoor amphitheatre was poor, I was expecting a much larger more professional looking stage (not a concrete base with a wooden shed). The evening entertainment offering wasn't great in comparison to other hotels. This is why I knocked off 1 star. But the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The beachfront location is incredible, we never tired of watching the sunset every evening. It was a 10min taxi ride to the old town (13 euro each way), or there were some small shops, cafes and restaurants just outside the hotel. A big thank you to all the staff for making it a memorable stay.

From the first moment we arrived, we knew everything was going to be great. This was our second holiday here in 2 years. Both times , well worth the money. Everything clean. The dinning room staff worked unbelievably hard, very busy, very friendly. The food in the hotel was good, so much variety. The themed nights where you can experience meals such as fish night's, bbq's, Cretian food and Greek night's and more, well worth a try. The Lobby bar staff really friendly, good to see faces from the previous year still working there, Captain George, best bar Lady Klio and many more. A special mention to the staff in the day who worked the just under the lobby bar, very friendly, and the Captain in charge was always very kind and helpful. This year's experience of the beach bar was a better one than last year. Which is good. We spent 11 nights there and didn't want to leave. The cocktails were amazing. Entertainment was better this year compared to last year which wouldn't have been hard. 8 days into our holiday we were given a free room upgrade, over looking the beach . I don't normally use the spa not my kinda thing but I liked it. Overall yes we woild go back definitely, sadly didn't want to leave.

The Grounds are Lovely, pools are great and we loved the indoor Spa. Food OK. The rooms do need a big update, I would say they are 3 star rooms and not very big. The reception staff, restaurant staff (apart from a few, George was lovely who was worked here for 34years) and manager could all benefit from a customer service basic training ! That’s the main reason they got a 4 Star They were not great in resolving an arrival issue with a Z Bed for my 16year old son, which was not appropriate!! We were offered a solution the next day, which we were happy with. But there customer service and attitude needs work. We did have a Lovely Holiday Great Sea Views Thank you
