Nice welcome from the family Close to the main streets of San Lazaro. Rooms are basic but spotlessly clean, however there are minimal electrical sockets. Sadly lots of noise from the neighbouring rooms. The door of the room didn’t fit very well and was not lockable from the inside. The bed was not very comfortable but just about bearable. The shower was good but with a very small shower cubicle Minimal toiletries, the hand soap and shower gel was good quality but really difficult to get out of the very rigid container on the wall. There was a hair dryer but unfortunately - No safe, No kettle and No fridge. Dinner was good quality, good size portions and flavoursome. Lunch was provided with good quality fresh bread and filling. Breakfast offered a reasonable selection, all items were cold. WiFi works well The Terrace offered nice views.

Hotel did a great job of accommodating our walking group. We received a warm welcome. My room was spacious with views across meadows to Vesuvius. Loads of immaculate white towels, everything spotless and the bed made perfectly every day. We were able to sit together for breakfast and dinner, despite being a large group (17). I soon learned that if anything was missing, I only had to ask, the staff were amazingly helpful and kind. Meal times were adjusted to be an hour before we set off hiking or sightseeing, even if it meant a very early start for staff. If you need a cappuccino, just ask, and no problem if you are going alcohol free - good supply of Poretti analcolica in the chill cabinet and it tastes good. The breakfast pastries my downfall, all delicious.

A perfect place to use a a base for walking in the Amalfi region. The staff are particularly helpful. On our first day Nikola drove us to the start of our walk because it was a Sunday and public buses are not regular or reliable. The hotel was full of walkers from all over. The expansive views from the terrace were a lively complement to end of day drinks. Meals simple and tasty.

The hotel far exceeded my expectations. The welcome from Nicola and his brother Miimo (?) was lovely. They made us feel at home from the off. The hotel was comfortable, and the room we had was a good size. It had a lovely view out to sea and over the hotel terrace. The bed, for me, was a little short. Breakfast was very good, lots of variety but no eggs, and was timed to coincide with any time we wanted to depart. So from 06.00 some days. The packed lunch was basic, but filling and well priced. Dinner was excellent. Really well though out and cooked. The wine list was reasonably priced and with some variety. I really enjoyed the pizza evening. What is not to like about tasting several different types of freshly cooked pizza.

Wonderful family-run hotel with classic charm of a bygone era. Loved my bedroom with balcony onto the street. The locally sourced & produced food was delicious & service was excellent! Pasta was beautifully made & absolutely delicious. Seafood fresh as one would expect & prepared to perfection. Would love to stay here again in the future! ♥️
