Folia Apartments Chania

We have just returned from 11 nights at Folia Hotel and what a wonderful place it is. The hotel is spotlessly clean and everywhere is immaculate and maintained to a very high standard. The owners Giannis and Nikos are always on hand and very friendly as are all the staff there. We had a one bedroom apartment with air conditioning fridge and safe all included. The pool area is very relaxing and sunbeds are always available. Breakfast is excellent with so much choice. We had lunch a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are plenty of lovely places to eat nearby and every meal we had was superb. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to return. Everything about it was 5 star. Thank you so much to everyone.

Can not recommend Folia enough. What an amazing hotel ☀️ Hotel is spotless clean, rooms very nice with great view. We spent a week here, and were so sad that we had to leave. The owners, Giannis and Nikos were so helpful and friendly, and made sure that every felt like paradise. Now, last but not least.. The bartender Giorgio.. What a true legend He is the sweetest, funny guy making sure that all guest around the pool are kept entertained He is someone very speciel, and we are going to miss all of you We will be back as soon as possible ☀️

A what a amazing 9 night stay we had. Giannis and Niko’s run a great hotel. Staff were are all very nice and fun. The hotel is beautifully maintained and a nice swim in the pool after a day of touring or coming back from the beach with a cold beer where great :) Rooms weee very nice and air conditioning worked great. Breakfast buffet was also very good . Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back in the future Thank you once again for your hospitality Your friends from Canada :)

If you ever think of visiting Agia Marina in Chania, you will never regret booking this little gem! Brothers Ianis and Nikos are the most welcoming kind hearted owners I have ever met, nothing is too much to make sure everyone has an amazing stay! We booked 9 nights, we are still here and enjoy every minute! Marina and Georgios make the best cocktails around the swimming pool kitchen staff put their heart in every dish! Can't fault anything, very happy to have chosen this place! Spotlessly clean everywhere ,beautiful breakfast, immaculate swimming pool! Manolis Tavern and Horiatki Tavern are a must,beautiful and everything comes with the Greek warm hospitality and much more!Thank you for everything,hopefully we will return

Very good atmosphere, amazing people and you feel welcome by everyone. Super cozy, very clean and comfortable beds. Poolbar has amazing worker that makes the whole visit much more fun and pleasant

Probably the friendlies staff, nice breakfast, very clean. Couldn't recommend enough.

On arriving late to the hotel we were down to our Maisonette room and brought out onto the balcony to be shown a building site but were told most of the noisy work was over. At no point during the booking process was this mentioned and there were plenty of opportunities to do so. The noise started at 7am every morning. When on Day 2 we mentioned it we were told it should start at 8am but it didn't and it continued. On Day 3 we'd had enough as we couldn't even sit out to have a morning coffee and told the managers/owners we were going to check out the next day. Only then did they offer us another room but it was too late for us. We checked our Day 4 and I asked as a gesture of goodwill if they would refund any of our payment for the last 3 nights but was told no. They said they had connections with other hotels and possibly could get us a room in one of them but again this offer was too late. They said by giving us 1 days refund they thought we would consider it a joke to which I replied that we would be quite happy to accept that... but they refused to give us anything. On a positive note the hotel is well maintained and located close to everything. Maisonette Rooms are small and we found steps down from double room quite dangerous.

Just back from a lovely week staying at Folia Apartments with extended family to celebrate my Mother in Laws 80th Birthday. I and my daughters (and everyone else) was very impressed by the accommodation and by the service offered. The rooms were spotless and perfect temperature (with some limited use of aircon) and the pool area was similarly immaculate and a very pleasant place to drink beer and coffee. It was all very relaxed and the owners and staff were very clearly focussed on the comfort of their guests. They even retrieved a lost wallet and its contents!! Advice as to where to get good and authentic Cretan food, and places to visit was also always forthcoming and the owners even arranged a very pleasant mini bus trip to Knossos and the Heraklion museum - both of which are unmissable. The beach at Agia Marina was lovely, clean and very accessible and the town is well equipped with supermarkets and eateries. Chania is a lovely town, easily accessible by bus and we went several times. Overall a lovely experience and we will return!

Beautifully presented, clean accommodation. Welcoming helpful owners and staff. Only thing that stops this being 10/10 is the steep steep climb to apartment 41!! Recommend highly to anyone that’s fit
