Hotel Taj Resorts

Facilities: Excellent. Hygiene: Spotless. Environment: Perfect location right next to the Taj Mahal. Service: They helped us book tickets, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. There's also a call service. Very satisfied with this hotel; the price was great too.

I booked this place because of its proximity to the Taj Mahal. While the facade looks decent, the inside is completely dilapidated. We were assigned a room on the "1st floor," which turned out to be in the basement. It was damp, stuffy, and had very outdated facilities. The most concerning part was the bedding—it was damp and stained, showing no signs of having been changed, with dingy, yellowed pillows and duvet inserts shamelessly exposed. Luckily, I brought my own disposable bedding set, but even then, I slept with my clothes on the entire night. Agra isn't that big, so there's really no need to stay right next to the attraction. This hotel was the only real letdown of my entire trip to India.

Great location, within walking distance to the Taj Mahal. The facilities are a bit old, but the rooftop view is nice. The breakfast buffet offers a simple selection. The front desk can help with booking Taj Mahal tickets.
