"Omali offers all you can expect from a hotel in its category. The food is good and the pool area very nice. In my opinion, location is a bit of a drawback, far from the centre of town and all its amenities - restaurant, strools, bars, markwet etc."

Hotel Kenito

"I stayed at the Hotel Kenito for only one night (sadly) before flying home from Sao Tome. After a few weeks touring it was a joy to have a spotless room with a fully working shower and a lovely pool to relax in. The staff were very attentive and really couldn't do more to help (especially the owner Kenito himself!) It's a 20min walk into the main town but this (for me) does make it really nice and quiet so a bonus if you sleep lightly. Definitely on my list of "return to hotels" when I visit the island again."

"I stayed in this wonderful hotel for 10 days. cozy rooms, comfortable beds. view from the window of the ocean (across the garden and the road), the sound of the surf creates a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast, although not rich in variety, is tasty and satisfying. The baked goods and fruits deserve special praise. the staff is helpful, the pool is refreshing, the sun loungers allow you to soak up the sun. The room has a safe, bath, good air conditioning. I recommend this hotel for visiting and relaxing."

"I understand that Sao Tome and Principe is a country that's in economic transition but this hotel's 5 star rating is really insulting. The rooms are old, the food is always a terrible buffet, and the hotel reception staff is just not up to par. The wait staff in the restaurant and housekeeping staff are super lovely. I only stay at this hotel because my work makes me for security purposes but I wish I could stay anywhere else but here. It's really a 3 star hotel and does not meet expectations."
