Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad

This is a very old property and, unfortunately, it seems to have received very little maintenance over the years. In my opinion, the current condition of the property does not justify its 4-star rating. The common areas, especially the carpets, were noticeably dirty and poorly maintained, which creates a very bad first impression. The rooms were just okay, but nothing exceptional. The bathrooms also felt very old, and visible stains made them look unhygienic and poorly maintained. However, the dining and restaurant experience was a positive aspect of the stay. The food and overall restaurant service were good. Overall, the property may have potential, but it seriously needs renovation, better maintenance, and improved cleanliness—especially in the common areas and bathrooms—to meet the standards expected from a 4-star hotel.

The restaurant service was very unprofessional. The waiting time for food was 90 minutes, the food in question being a sandwich and french fries. The quality of food was really poor as well, half burnt fries, tea felt like i was drinking hot water, had to get ti changed. Very bad service from the waiters on site, i also complained to the manager. The utensils were dirty, also had to get it replaced. Lack of information from the waiter regarding the menu. The bathroom was filthy, all taps were rusted, the toilet was not clean. I forgot to take photos of it. Overall a really bad stay, and i have no plans to come back to Fairfield. The only reason i decided to stay was the branding of Marriott, but really disappointed.

Location was great close to riverfront, airport and restaurants. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

It is dirty hotel communal carpets and room toilets and all fittings are old and derelict. Not worth the price and did not accept this from Marriott.

Great service, fantastic rooms, good breakfast & friendly staff. We had a great stay here and I would personally like to thank Gulshan for being extremely accommodating & professional. He made our experience so much better and went the extra mile to help us. Will be booking again in future.

i have a best experience in Mariott hotel at both CBE AND AMD, which i will recommend to all my friends.
