Ginger Ahmedabad SG Road

I have booked hotel through trip.com. when I entered with my client the hotel was under renovation. I had asked to hotel why they don't informed or why they accepted booking. They said to check room if not ok we will put cancellation. We had asked for refund but yet it is not been processed. We had got cancellation email but it is not been refunded. Money is important but this kind of cheating is not acceptable. Hotel said they got booking from agoda.com and I made booking from trip.com Hotel people say they sent email of cancellation to agoda.com and trip.com is saying that didnt get cancellation from hotel. Now as user of trip.com where we can go. We are writing to trip.com but they are replying saying that we can help by giving some concession in future booking. That is not ok. Hotel has cancelled this booking it had to be refunded full amount.

My stay at Ginger Ahmedabad (S.G. Road) on 03 July 2026 was disappointing. Room 205 had a strong cigarette smoke odor that remained even a couple of hours after check-in. The bathroom faucet was leaking, the lift buttons were badly worn and difficult to read, and the towels provided were still damp. I reported these issues to the front desk and spent nearly an hour seeking a resolution. The room was eventually changed, but the process took considerable time late at night. I was able to discuss the matter with the manager the following morning, and he assured me that the issues would be addressed. I am surprised that what I found out in 10 hours, he does not know anything about! Overall, I found the property to be poorly maintained and below the standard I expected from a branded hotel. I hope management improves maintenance, housekeeping, and guest service for future visitors.

Room size large as compare to other Ginge. Neat and cleans area and rooms. Staff is very friendly

Staff at ginger specially Tarun and subhdeep were cooperative and professional stay was pleasant at Ginger highly recommend to stay at this Hotel .

Location is Good l. Easy to access transportation. Clean and Neat rooms.
