Oblu Select Lobigili - Premium All-Inclusive with Free Transfers

I am very happy to come to this island and have Lisa as my island host to serve me and handle everything. His positive and cheerful smile makes me feel that it is worth the money. He takes great care of me and my husband. We were very moved. In fact, his professionalism, enthusiasm and attentiveness to the guests. I think it is very worthy of training to become a good leader. Because of Lisa's relationship, my husband and I have wonderful memories on this island. And after returning to Taiwan, we will find many friends to come see Lisa next time. You are very lucky to have an employee like Lisa. We also feel very lucky to meet an excellent hostess like Lisa.

We have just returned from Lobigili, this has been, among the best holidays ever. The service you receive from the moment you land in Malè, meeting our Islsnd Hostess Rinki to the second you leave, this resort cannot do enough for you. From collections in the BARBIE Buggie to organising The Only Blu underwater restaurant bookings and then the Spa trea**ents sunset cruises and snorkeling trips. Everything is catered for the girls in the restaurant Heyde and her chums to the bar with the beautiful Maya and her fab cocktails, the over water room attendant Koti and the guy that refills both our fridge and snack cupboard every day. Thank you to you all (especially Rinki) Everything EVERYTHING, is just fabulous, the best way to spend two weeks 😎

I want it noted that I have never written a review ever about any holiday that I have ever taken but feel that I must in the case of the Oblu Select Lobigili. We have recently returned from there and to be honest it was the best holiday ever. On arrival you are met by guy playing a saxophone and the ladies are given a red rose, well it is the island of love. Right from the start you are made to feel very special, our hostess Maryann was wonderful and you are escorted to your room in a little pink buggy. Where to start we had a Sunnest Beach Pool Villa it was beautiful, well equipped and spacious and the views from the room are stunning. We were there for 2 weeks and I cannot fault it the food was amazing, especially at the Only Blu the largest Under Water Restaurant in the Maldives. The drinks are branded and not watered down like some holiday destinations. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff, they are simply amazing, it didn't matter where it was whether it was dining in one of the restaurants, I would like to mention Alpi she was wonderful as were all the staff but we became especially fond of her. The Swing Bar Team Sara, Divya,Maya, Puja, Sonam and Chandu were just the best. Overall I would rate our holiday there off the scale, we will be returning because it simply can't be beaten. Thank you all you are amazing.

The service is wonderful, although the weather was not at its best because of the rain and constant wind, but the staff at the resort were very beautiful and kind and constantly trying to provide all our needs. Thank you to all the employees, especially our hosts Rinki she was with us for 24 hours throughout the stay.

Very heartwarming hotel, all the staff are kind and helping, the room was fantastic (sunset nest with pool). Alot of options to have for food. I would like also to give a big thank you to Mechelle our host, she is amazing and made our journey even better.

Lobigili is an exceptional place for a paradise vacation. Our stay at the island was truly amazing from the moment we stepped off the speedboat. The check in procedure was extremely calm and welcoming. Our appointed hostess, Ester was BRILLIANT from the get go, making us feel at ease after a long flight. During our stay, we stayed at both the beach villa and water villas for 3 nights each and Ester was truly hospitable throughout our whole stay. A personal request was made for an impromptu proposal dinner experience on the beach and Ester delivered with 24hr notice. All members of the Lobigili staff were exceptional and of a very high standard in their level of service. A few individuals who we felt connected with during our stay were, Setal, Raksha, Pooja, Maya and Teju. These members of Lobigili are a credit to the resort. We do hope that they all get the recognition they deserve. Setal in particular on the evening of the beach proposal was our host for the evening and she delivered an impeccable level of service and we would like to extend our gratitude to her. The hotel and resort is clean, tidy and the amenities are fantastic. The rooms are well kept and luxurious. The Sunsets are amazing. The food and drinks are lovely. The entertainment and excursions are presented well. We did feel that we got the personal touch and made our 50th birthday celebrations a wonderful experience to treasure. On a final note, Ester was a STAR! We would definitely love to hear that she receives appropriate recognition for her instrumental part of our stay. We will be recommending this resort to our friends and family and hope to return here in the near future.

Stop looking. You’ve found the perfect Maldive holiday here! Trust me I did the research and so glad we picked Lobigili. This resort is next level laid back lux. From start (at the airport) to finish (at immigration at the airport) you really don’t need to think about anything as they take care of everything. It ticked everything I wanted for my first and dream Maldives holiday and waaaay more. We were so relaxed the whole time. Cannot fault this resort, reef, facilities, experiences, or accommodation - even the other guests were wonderful. The true gem of this resort is the staff and the resorts whole ethos makes you feel very special indeed. Yes it’s inclusive but so much more is included than just food, drinks and accommodation. They organised a massage and facial on Mothers day and other very thoughtful gestures. We absolutely loved the staff from our beautiful host Rinki and housekeeper Koti to wonderful F&B staff Elin, Dechen, Rachelle & Mahrina to nane just a few who were totally across our F&B preferences. Scotti and Maya were tireless in the bar making awesome cocktails to order - thank you! Now to the food - not only was there an incredible variety which changed daily but the presentation was unbelievable & desserts that were works of art. The chefs came to our table and on more than 2 occasions & made special food to order for my next evening meal if it wasn’t on the menu that evening. The seafood was also excellent. We met other guests who were wonderful - a variety of ages - from young honeymooners to professionals and business owners who we had dinner with on multiple occasions. Without a doubt the best holiday we have ever had and we are well travelled and fortunate to have stayed at some high end accommodation. Can’t wait to return. Thank you all at Lobigili - just magnificent!

The staff is amazing. They were very warm and approached us with a smile. We feel that this is the most crucial factor for a great stay. We had great interactions with Maya and Sara at the Swing bar, Citra and Alfi in the restaurant and our hostess Rinki - Just to name a few. Thanks a lot for the excellent service! The spa trea**ent was sublime and we could relax really well. Also, the facilities in the Watervilla are great and the housekeeping did a thorough cleaning. One other highlight was the underwater restaurant. Some (systematic) things to improve: - While the food selection and food presentation is great, we think the food quality and taste can be improved. Often the meat was chewy. - The cocktails options are limited, if you are European and are used to „Aperitivo“ like Aperol Spritz and co., you might be disappointed. - We asked for an extra beetroot chips in the room and were told by the housekeeping that the next bag would be in chargeable basis since we are only entitled to one bag per day. Given the hotel is all inclusive, this seems cheap. Also, we did not consume anything than one can of Sprite in the room. Thus, since the housekeeping must have known this (they restock the goods), one extra bag should not be a problem. - One of our included excursions was cancelled due to the weather conditions. While we understand that safety is the ou**ost important, a little „compensation“ would be nice. An idea could be a trea**ent from the spa; and if this is not possible due to full slots, something like a skin or face mask for us to enjoy in the meantime would be very appreciated. The included excursion like snorkeling would have cost money if booked additionally, so a compensation would be appropriate here. - The workshop on hair mask was great, we had an explanation on how to make one and get a short trea**ent on our hair. However, the workshop on body scrub took only a couple minutes of explaining what a scrub made of, without getting to make or sample one. Since a guest might have cancel other activities to attend the workshop, the experience can be significantly improved - by letting the guests work out and use their own scrubs.

We had a great time at the resort. Its an epic and absolutely amazing place. We had a great hostess Rinki, our rooms were splendid and cozy and all the staff were extremely sweet and welcoming. The experience is honestly once in a lifetime one!
