Magnums Airlie Beach – Adults only Reviews

This is a really large property, and it was fun to explore. Every area was kept clean. There are also many single rooms, ensuring privacy. Moreover, the front desk staff were very attentive. I'd love to visit again when I come back to Airlie!

It feels a bit like a jungle camping cabin. The bathroom facilities are a bit old, but overall it's still good. It's right off the main bustling street, so if you're bored at night, you can play pokies, have a drink, and watch a show at the bar by the entrance. 😊

Convenient location, friendly staff, simple clean room with shared shower/toilet. Live music every night and they also organise tours. Would definitely stay here again 🫶🏼

Very welcoming team, peaceful atmosphere, and well located.

The location of the hostel was great, right in the centre of where you need to be. The staff were nice and helpful. However the hostel standard was not up to the same level as the location and staff. The rooms were moderately clean, we had a massive brown stain on our bedding when we arrived, the showers and toilets had mould and clumps of spiders and spiders webs everywhere. In the corners, on the ceilings, in the actual toilet and shower areas. That being said you get what you pay for, this is one of the cheapest hostels in airlie beach, so you sacrifice some cleanness due to how cheap it is.

Super convenient location

Nature in city center ! Perfectly located in the center of Airlie beach. The cabine is really good with private bathroom and toilet along with a lovely terrace in front of the cabane. This is quiet after 10 pm even though there is a bar not far from the cabane. The room is wide with double and single beds. And the room was clean. We booked our day trips with Magnums too who can handle the booking for us (Kangooroo at sunrise, scenic flight over whitsundays and heart island, wild Playtipus encounter) and all the 3 day trips went well. The only thing that could be improved is the knowledge of the pick up point (it was actually at Nomads at the level of the roundabout and not the Nomads shop next to the hotel). Also to go the airport of Proserpine there is a shuttle linked to your plane number and the pick up point is also 5 min from Magnums which is very convenient (Magnums can book it for you)

Fantastic room, very convenient with a full kitchen. The location on the main street is lively and great for getting around. The staff were very welcoming and the room was spotlessly clean, with prompt housekeeping service.

Really good place to stay in Airlie beach. Our queen cabin was clean, quiet and had everything we needed.

Great location and affordable. Rooms were basic but clean. Had kitchen and laundry facikities. Wifi signal in rooms not great.

So nice we stayed twice!! Loved this place. The staff are all so nice! Comfy beds, clean areas! Great kitchen, never too busy. With air fryer too!

Overall, the place is nice; it feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle, it’s quiet, and you can tell it’s cleaned regularly (the kitchen was the only area that was quite dirty, but that’s more down to the guests). The single bunk room is a bit uncomfortable: very little space, a very narrow and short bed, only a couple of hooks for clothes, and just one ceiling light (they could, for example, add a small bedside light).
