We stayed in an overwater bungalow, the room was beautifully decorated, with a stunning sea view and lagoon right in front of our balcony and all the amenities we could have asked for. Despite there is no free wifi, but who needs when you are this close to the ocean and lagoon. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the incredible service we received. We stayed 2 nights here and it was a great and affordable base camp for us. Room was cool in the evenings and we never saw a mosquito at all. Kitchen is basic but has what you need. Avetea Cafe is a 5 min walk and people came from all over the island to have food there and we were able to make it with a short walk - which we did several times! Our hosts Des and Tutai could not have been more hospitable and were only a phone call away if we needed something.
