Hotel Route-Inn Aizuwakamatsu

The Route Inn hotel brand is reliable, as always. We stayed at Route Inn hotels throughout our entire trip in Japan, and it's definitely worth coming back. However, the breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise at first, felt a bit repetitive after 10 days.

Aizu Wakamatsu isn't a large city, and the hotel is conveniently located not far from the station – just a few minutes by taxi. It's a quiet and peaceful town, which was very pleasant. The hotel room was quite spacious, and they have a public bath, which was wonderful for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was also good! 👍 The front desk staff were very polite and even helped us book a taxi. 🚕

Great value for money hotel for a couple's one-night stay.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the building was clean and I had a pleasant stay. It's the same no matter which Route Inn I stay at, so I'll definitely stay again.

The large public bath was kept clean, and it was a bonus that it was worth it just for being there. I only had breakfast, but I was satisfied with the variety, quantity, and taste, even in times of rising prices. Another plus was that you could take coffee back to your room in a paper cup.

I stayed for two nights. It was a little far from the station, but there was a supermarket right next door, so I was able to get cheap drinks and dinner, which was great. There were also a tonkatsu restaurant and a convenience store nearby, so it was convenient. The large public bath was also clean, and since it was an artificial hot spring, it was very comfortable. I stayed on the 8th floor, so the view from the window was great. It was comfortable.

This time, I used it to take the Tadami Line, but it's far from the station, so other than that it was fine. Also, there is a supermarket called Lion d'Or next door, which is convenient.
