Hala Inn Hotel Apartments - Baithans

My son and I stayed in a Studio Apartment. We stayed during Ramadan so we availed ourselves of the complimentary breakfast and Iftar. The hotel has an "older" feel to it with a "kitchy" decor of tile and wood. The room itself was fine, showing some age but completely acceptable. It was clean and quiet. For the price we paid, we felt we got a great value. I was given a tour of several hotel apartments and found them all well furnished, great views, but with minor wear and tear. If you are a picky perfectionist, go elsewhere. If you like this kind of feel and experience, it is perfect!

Never ever will visit again. Waste of Dh 480 per one night for - old room with old stuff, tiny bathroom with water spill outside and leaking shower hose, no power socket for charging, hammering calling bell sound, unreliable door lock, smelly corridor, no tea, coffee, sugar sachets. Plenty of good hotels at reasonable price available nearby. Donation of Dh 480 for one stay, they also said ‘breakfast not included’. Not seen any such a bad hotel in Middle East.

Pleasantly surprised with the condition of the property. Staff was very helpful with the taxi reservations. Breakfast was very good and room amenities as well.

When i first walked into the hotel they gave me a room with a ac in the ceiling that was very loud almost like a old loud car engine. Then i changed the room to another floor. The second room AC did not work so i slept the night woke up told the staff guy to get it fixed because im fed up with picking up my stuff changing rooms. The room ac got fixed however whatever you ask you have to ask twice. I asked yesterday during the day leaving my room at reception the guy said sure ill have towels and whome room sorted since i extended my stay. This is my second time i has to call reception and ask for the same. I paid more than my orignal booking rate during my extention of stay. I stayed here just for the sake of convenience and not having to pack everything. However i woudnt stay here again because now iv been waiting for over 10 minutes on a towel so i can shower. This property should be a 2.5 star hotel. Next to my room i hear construction early morning because next door their building a building so your will hear hammers and drilling all day. The breakfast here is absolutely a NO. I only like the lemon mint water. I do not reccomend their food or breakfast. At the end of the day they say you get what you pay for. So i guess for what i paid is what Im getting treated like.
