GGuest UserGorgeous authentic small hotel with a gorgeous rooftop terrace & lovely views. We had the large room on top floor so with a small private balcony & opening onto the terrace. The location of the hotel is very good, only a few minutes walk from Pushkar lake but in a quiet area of the town so you do get a pretty good nights sleep! Very friendly owner & in a great location!
GGuest UserStay was good. Bathroom fittings were mostly broken. No toiletry. That being said, room bed was good. Mattress was decent. Outer area garden and sitting was very good. Swimming pool was clean. Only minor default was bathroom conditions. Also, breakfast had very limited options. Also location is almost at the end and the path is a little bumpy. Cannot reach without google map during night time. But the view was worth going that interior. It’s about 0. 7km inside from main road. But overall it’s a fine resort at the cost they are asking for if you can adjust with a broken tap and a broken loo cover.
This hotel is a gem in Pushkar. We visit a lot for business so require somewhere out of the hussle and bussel of the town but close enough to walk in and Gulab Niwaas fits the bill perfectly. The room was very pleasant with a conformable bed, spotlessly clean and a nice little terrace/balcony area. The restaurant serves the best food in Pushkar, we has several great evening meals, breakfasts and there cafe area serves fresh coffee, not easily found in Pushkar. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they are so friendly, helpful but always professional, particularly Mukkesh and Aveenesh. We will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI was visiting Pushkar and opted to stay at a Zostel because I had been following Zostel's advertisements on Social Media platforms and thought to give it a try. The way they keep advertising a fun stay, is absolute nonsense in real life. I will first try to explain how ZOSTEL PUSHKAR's building is designed. There is a lobby on the ground floor, and the building has maybe 3 floors on top of that. The lobby area is like a well if overlooked from other floors, meaning, you can see the lobby from any floor. The lobby is at the center and rest of the floors are on top of that but surrounding it. Sort of like a typical Indian hostel. Maybe you will get a better idea of what I am saying if you look at the pictures they have on their website. I reached Zostel in the morning and I had booked a Deluxe room, and it turned out that the room had NO ventilation. Absolutely zero ventilation. There was one window which was facing the INTERIORS of the zostel, so facing the corridors, which is absolutely useless because you cannot open that window or else everyone walking by can look inside your room. This was just the beginning of my horrible stay. The other guests were enjoying over loud, hammering music all day. I did not object it as I thought that they will at least stop in the evening. I couldn't be more wrong. The guests never stopped their music which they were playing in the COMMON AREAS of the property, and they were never asked not to either. This nuisance lasted till 12:30 AM. I could not sleep because of such noise. Also, around 11 PM, The ZOSTEL STAFF started bursting crackers because it was Diwali. That lasted for so long that I had to go down and ask them to stop ASAP. At 1 AM, THE ZOSTEL STAFF tuned on to a TV SERIAL, on the Television that is located in the center of the lobby, at FULL volume. I could not take it anymore, and I barged out of my room, loud enough that they would here me. They turned down the volume just after looking at how furious I was, but never turned the TV off. After this disturbing stay, I booked a room at a resort for the next day and left. I do not suggest staying at Zostel Pushkar.
GGuest UserThe room is quite good overall and cleaner than other hotels in India, although the furniture was full of dust and there was damp on the wall. But there are many details that need to be improved: The first day there was a bottle of water in the room (although hot), but the second day they didn't leave it; So, we asked for it and they told us to order it from the restaurant. We had to explain to them (as best we could, because the guys who send the room don't speak English, only Hindi) that the water was not for drinking, it was for brushing our teeth because we can't do it with tap water. In all the hotels in India except this one, they have put water in the room for us to brush our teeth and drink. The first day there was only a small bottle of shower gel in the room and it is a room for two people; So, we had to order another one. The next day, when we left the room, we told reception that when they cleaned it they should leave two bottles of gel and hand towels, because there was only a shower, but when we arrived there was only one bottle and no hand towels. We had to ask again for the towels and another bottle of gel and explain that each person needs a bottle because they are small. We also had to ask for toilet paper because there was very little in the room. The first day there was no hot water in the shower; So, my boyfriend took a cold shower. Before taking a shower, I called the reception to say that there was no hot water, they gave it to us and I was able to take a shower with hot water. The next day there was no hot water again; So, before taking a shower, we called reception to ask for it, they came to try to give it to us, but they made us wait a long time and it didn't come out hot; So, we got tired of waiting and we both took cold showers. When we went down to the reception to check out we discussed it and they told us that we should have notified us again, how many times do we have to ask for hot water for them to give it to us? There is a refrigerator but it doesn't work. The room was already paid for through the application in which we booked it, but when we checked out they made us wait to see if there was any more charge and they tried to charge us for restaurant charges that were not ours, since we had not ordered anything. They brought first one ticket, then two others... They don't even know who the restaurant tickets belong to. Is incredible! We told them that we couldn't waste any more time because the train was leaving and we left.
Hello, I did not book a hotel before going to Sarımsaklı. It was a pure coincidence that I chose the beach hotel. I'm glad my feet took me there. I felt at home. The room was clean and bright, facing the beach. The bed was quite comfortable. The food was very delicious. The cleanliness of the greenery is very important to me; It was spotless. The employees were warm, friendly and solution-oriented. Ms. Fatma, the manager of the hotel, helped us in every way. He was warm, sincere and smiling. If I go to Sarımsaklı next year, Sahil Hotel is the place I would want to stay without hesitation. I wish everyone a nice holiday where they will feel like they are at home.
GGuest UserSo, spent two nights here for the Holi Festival, my first and I’m solo traveller, ***agement, staff, room, cleanliness everything superb … my en-suite Shower had better pressure than my own power shower in the UK 🤩 highly recommend them, few minutes walk into centre of market or Sunset Cafe by the lake. Thank you 🙏
