Forest Inn Showakan (Okura Hotels & Resorts) Reviews

After leaving the station, I walked on the road to the Showakan Forest Hotel. The scenery along the way was beautiful and the surroundings were quiet. There was only the rustle of my footsteps. When I saw the hotel door, it was eye-catching. When I walked into the lobby, it looked like a forest outside the glass. It was lush green and it was such a wonderful time to meet a dazzling young man and woman holding an engagement ceremony here~

I used it to go to Moominvalley Park the next day from Disneyland. There is also a large public bath where you can relax.

The environment is quite good, with a large forest behind it and it's quite quiet. You can walk to Morry town, where there are many choices for shopping and dining.

It was very quiet and comfortable! We had a relaxing time! In addition, it is a hotel that I would like to take care of when I go to Akishima.

Extremely firm beds, fluffy pillows. Air conditioning is not all that great. Absolutely stunning hotel. The staff are efficient, extremely welcoming and courteous. The park atmosphere is beautiful and the food is abundant. The teas and coffee supplied to your room are wonderful.

I would not recommended this hotel at all.. This is a poorly maintained hotel with rundown and old and broken furniture .. Rooms are not clean at all , many many spots on the carpet, mold in the washroom and damaged walls and ceiling I had way higher expectations and was truly disappointed

The check in process was smooth and the service of all the staff were excellent. Except the BED! Just imagine sleeping in the box spring. sleeping is very impossible and the pillow is not best condition. We do appreciate the space but the bed was rock solid

The hotel is a bit aged though the facilities are reasonably accessible. The good point is it is near the Outdoor Village which is a good place to visit in walking distance. Besides, free carpark service is available which is good.

Here it is in a nutshell so you can make your own decision. I was here for 17 days: -no early check-in after 16 hours of flights -no iron in room but can request one to use -all restaurants are in expensive for the gov't per diem -only 1 bath towel / 1 hand towel / 1 room key based on my computers reservation platform (no exceptions per the front desk) -to call the mattress 'firm' is a major understatement -the only tv channel in english is CNN -the hotel bus was useful, so that's a positive

I really enjoyed the comfort of the room and how hospitable the staff is. 10/10 would go again.

The staff and property were good. Only criticism is the bed if you are not used to very firm mattresses.

Spacious and quiet and great customer service. Bigger pillows and more English speaking channel will be nice

This Hotel was very nice and my room came better prepared than usual. The room had everything I would need, an extra razor, toothbrush, Q-tips, robe and sandals for the spa etc, very nice. We held an event in one of their upstairs conference rooms and it was nice as well. It had tables, chairs, a digital projector/screen and was catered with coffee. I enjoyed everything about this place from the excellent buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner options, to the firm mattresses and fluffy pillows.
