It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are lots of great restaurants nearby and Senshu Park is close by too! I really enjoyed being able to stroll through Senshu Park in the morning. In the evening, I was treated to some complimentary Yonaki Soba!

KAN Raku hotel in Akita is very good in aervice and cleanliness. I like the public bath and it is very relaxing. The down side is location is not in busy locations so if you want to have dinner , not many restaurants around. There is a lot of bars and Karaoke near hotel. All in japanese languages and you need to install your translator to understand that. Kepp the good job and i will come back again.

This hotel is right next to a underground rock concert shop. It has frequent tenants who played there or attend the concerts there. If you are driving , you won’t be able to get their parking slots as it mostly reserved for the regulars. The nearby parking lots charges 400 Y from 4pm-8am so if you arrive shortly after check in time and decide to head out early the next day, you may use the 2 carparks that is right beside the hotel. If you can’t make it in time, the hotel cheapest parking option is behind Lawson where they have monthly season parking lots. It’s 600 yen per night from 3pm to 10am. room wise, price to value is below average probably becos of high demand in the vicinity. As for cleanliness, can be better improve. My aircon filter and air filter machine was producing really moldy and smell air , probably from previous guests who sweated in the room. Was a big turn off lucky I came during autumn, can just open the window to get cold air in.

We had a lovely, relaxing time at Hotel Kan Raku. The room was a nice size for two people; the baths were hot and refreshing; breakfast was delicious; and the staff went above and beyond to ensure all patrons had a great time in their establishment. We would definitely stay there again if/when we come back to Akita!

It was great! Everything was clean and I was able to relax. The only inconvenience was that there were only three showers in the large communal bath, but I guess that's just how it is. The pillows were super memory foam.

The hotel's location is great, but after we checked in and turned on the air conditioner, we noticed a strange odor. We thought it would go away after a while, but it lingered for a long time. We went to the front desk and asked to change rooms. The staff said they were full and came up to our room to adjust the air conditioner, but the odor persisted. The staff later offered to refund our money and tell us to find another hotel. However, it was already past 8 p.m., and we were shocked by this solution. Why would we have to find another hotel on our own? We refused to accept it. The staff then called other hotels to see if they had rooms available. After several calls, they couldn't find any. Finally, they found one that had rooms, but it was twice our current rate. We wondered why we should have to bear the extra expense of the hotel's problems. After discussion, we decided to go out for dinner while the staff addressed the air conditioner problem. The odor was resolved, and we stayed the night. I think the hotel could have found a better way to help customers solve the problem instead of passing the problem on to them. This was a very poor experience.

I don't have any major complaints. The price is reasonable and I think it's good.

The hotel has a great location and the rooms are spacious. My favorite part is the bathroom, which has ample safety features and is very suitable for older guests.

I stayed for three nights to support a corporate baseball tournament. There were about seven parking spaces in front of the hotel, and it was very convenient, even though it was first-come, first-served. There was also parking across the street. The location was great, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Akita Station was about a 10-minute taxi ride away. They also served midnight ramen and provided free bottled juice. The room was clean and comfortable, making it a very nice hotel.

Despite the low price, the room was very clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. When I had trouble with the key box, the female staff member was quick and courteous, which I appreciated. If there was a request, it would be even better if there was a file in the room with various information (for example, a map with information on nearby restaurants) or an environment where you can watch Tver. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat ramen due to my schedule.

I booked this hotel because the price was cheap, and I was very satisfied. The room was small, but there was no strange smell, which was nice. In the evening, they even served ramen, drinks, and snacks! There was also a large public bath, so I was able to stretch my legs and relax and relieve the fatigue of my travels. The amenities included makeup remover, lotion, and milky lotion, which was very helpful. The breakfast was also delicious and the best. There are many good hotels and inns that are worth the money, but I can only take my hat off to the quality this much for this price.

Stayed two nights straight. The place was comfortable. It would be nice if the large baths were open longer. There was a ramen snack at 10 PM, which was nice. Drinks and coffee were free. Great value!
