I made a reservation while travel assistance was still available. It is a hot spring inn on the coastline leading to the Mukaiyama area in the eastern part of Ako City. It is one of the five inns of the Hyogo Ikoi no Yado Corporation that has a large hot spring bath. It is convenient to use a car, but the expressways and toll roads in the Kansai urban areas are no fun to drive on, so I used the JR special rapid service, which allows you to arrive even if you fall asleep. I asked a bus to pick me up from Banshu Ako Station to Higashi Misaki. The JR Ako Line often runs once an hour, so it is sometimes possible to share the bus. The Ako Onsen area is lined with high-class inns, but Ako Heights is a little off the beaten path and is fun. There will probably be a lot of visitors at this time of year, but it was refreshing to cook rice with portable fuel before eating. A dish from the standard menu for seniors.
