Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa

We had a great stay at the Fujairah Rotana. The location is excellent, with a private beach, a huge pool, and several dining options on-site. Our rooms were spacious and both had beautiful sea views. The drive to Fujairah itself is quite scenic and enjoyable. Even though the hotel seemed very busy, possibly full, during our visit, the maintenance and service were consistently good. We also appreciated the ample shaded parking. For added convenience, just a few minutes across the road, you’ll find some basic grocery stores, coffee shops, and a few restaurants if you're looking for more variety. Overall, a very good hotel that I would recommend for a relaxing stay.

Great place to stay!

Average stay at best. Location very nice, and good amenities. However service needs A LOT of improvement - too slow, staff not well trained, language is a barrier. Food quality was mixed - seafood was good, meat was terrible. Also rules were overly complicated for simple asks. I won't say it was a "bad" experience, but for the other options in UAE and for what I paid, I won't be coming again.

I've stayed at this hotel with my family five times, and I'm always impressed by the amazing beach and friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. However, during my recent visit, I had a disappointing experience with the lifeguard. While I was swimming in front of the hotel area, he asked me to leave, claiming I wasn't allowed to swim there. I explained that it's my hotel room area, but he insisted. It wasn't until I showed him my room card that the issue was resolved. While the hotel staff is generally great, the lifeguard's approach came across as disrespectful, especially in front of other guests. Perhaps some additional training on guest interaction would be beneficial.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Rotana Hotel in Fujairah and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was great, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the buffet breakfast offered a good selection each morning. What really made our stay special was the exceptional service from the team. A special thank you to WahWah at breakfast, who was fantastic throughout our stay. She remembered our room number and usual order every morning and always served us with such a warm, friendly smile. Marzouk on reception was very helpful, as were Sardor and Shanuka. We would also like to recognise Denis at the pool bar, Dyan who looked after us both at the pool bar and Waves Restaurant, and Moe at Waves Restaurant, who was always smiley and attentive whenever we dined there. There was also a barman with a lovely smile and distinctive top-knot hairstyle who provided excellent service and deserves a mention too. Overall, we loved our stay. Everyone we encountered was kind, professional, and eager to help. The reception renovation has been completed beautifully and gives a fantastic first impression. If there was one area for improvement, it would be the dining options. Although we booked the Ultra All Inclusive package, we found the choice of restaurants and evening dining options to be somewhat limited. We looked at the buffet dinner but didn’t end up dining there as the selection didn’t really appeal to us, and we felt the hotel could benefit from offering a few more restaurant choices to guests. The only other minor point is that some of the swimming pool sunbeds are looking a little dated and could do with being refreshed. That said, these were small points in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our long weekend so enjoyable, we look forward to returning.
