Nkhila Lodge

This is the fourth time we have visited Morocco and we always ask for “Abdou” by name. He is an excellent driver, safely negotiating busy town centres and motorways alike. He always keeps his vehicle in immaculate condition. He has an excellent instinct for what interests us, local markets, historic places and we feel safe and well cared for with Abdou. He chooses local guides personally. He finds places to eat that offer good food and good value. When we arrive at a Riad, he always ensures that we and our luggage are safely conveyed to where we are staying. We are on a 4 centre tour this time which we would not have wanted to undertake without Abdou.

What a little gem near the Lalla Takerkoust ! We loved the decoration, setting and delicious food. Every morning and evening, we enjoyed the view on the lake, the sunrise and sunset. The host Cristian was very charming as well as the other people working in the hotel. I can recommend this hotel for couples, families and a group of friends; The perfect location for exploring Agafay, Atlas Mountains, the valleys like Ouirgane, the lake and so on...

Still very good and affordable. The meal with two friends is very local. The owner is also very warm and friendly. The meal is delicious. Besides, when I go, it is a group of foreigners next door to the party in the middle of the night. well

I was here in October 2016 but I did not have Tripadvisor then. I was with my friend and we had a lovely stay! Such nice staff, and everyone was so nice to us and made suggestions with what we can do in the city center that day, the hotel manager always helped us with prices and gave us a map and explained a lot about the city. We were sitting with him some evenings and drank tea. And we did not feel uncomfortable at all any Second in the hotel, even as two young women in a hotel with mainly male staff. The first night we did sleep at the other house (there are 3 houses) which was not so nice, but they were fully booked and in the next morning we could even chose our room. It was beautiful and huge! It is not a classic hotel, but a huge house that was converted into a hotel. But I liked the concept, since it was a small hotel with >20 rooms and the staff knew all their guests. Breakfast was very good, every day we got a different Moroccan breakfast specialty. Free shuttle to the city center 4x a day, we always spend the morning and afternoon at the pool and went to the city centre for late afternoon and evening. The shuttle driver also helped us to get a taxi in the city center and told the taxi driver to make us a good price would stay there again!
