Arrived late at nigh after restaurants closed to be told by reception they did not have our booking! They asked us to pay for a night by credit card as there were no managers on duty to help us! We were asked to sit in lounge area whilst they looked into it all, We were looked after there by a lovely waiter called Victor, who couldn't have been more helpful that night and when ever we saw him his service was impeccable, we were asked to prove payment which we did and they found they had booked for a month later! Second day, no door on bathroom just a curtain tiles on shower area and bathroom area were like glass and very slippy, we had to put towels down to even shower and then more towels on floor getting out if shower to the bedroom! Very slippy indeed ! and the room was not what we had asked for a family room , they gave us another room not much improvement though, we were three friends on holiday. So one would hope there was three of everything, nope we had to ask for extra towels and bathrobes and glasses cups ! Asked at guest relations about the slippy floors and were given extra floor mats. We also asked about the mix up on arrival and the room mix up , offered free 15 min massage, an extra eat in a la carte snd a free cabana. Day three at adults only pool as all other pools with lots if kids as its a family hotel, ok , but on arrival the area still had rubbish on floors drinks etc and food from day before, thus happened few days, the pool has a shallow section that one can walk in to main pool (not big) which looks fine but I took one step into the shallow pool and went down hard onto my ribs and right shoulder, the tiles are like glass! They offered me to go to clinic and hospital, which I declined as one of us is a senior nurse and even if a rib was broken nothing is done for it, Daily when there we watch so many others have the same slips its very dangerous, it took over a week before I got to sit in front of the owner who took great pains to tell me people slip cos of sun cream in water ! Well theres is also not shower at that pool either! He told me all companies that sell holidays there have been and risk assessed the hotel and are happy , no one has ever stepped in that pool I can truly say, also he claimed he had never had anyone complain about this pool , , so booked the cabana few days later 9-6 with fruit to arrive and staff would look after us from bar etc, cabana was not cleaned, the fridge was not plugged in not stocked with anything like water? Then three aclock , no fruit platter ! Bar staff walking past not engaging with us, When we asked, the fruit platter came with a bottle of cava . The food in main restaurant is ok , I stuck to fruits yoghurts and local things same with dinner I stuck to the turkish grills etc which were better than anything, the a la cartes were better and portions especially in the grill one were superb and we realised quickly that the standard of the wines in a la cartes were better, was worth
