SureStay Hotel by Best Western the Clarence on Melville
"The location is good. Room is better than I expected."
The Beach House at Bayside
"The location of this B&B is very quiet and very handy for a walk along the Middleton Beach footpath to Emu Point. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the Rooms is not up to the standard of 5 star accommodation, which is how it is described on the Website. There are lots of little failings which gives the appearance of very little maintenance or lack of money. e.g. broken venetians, bad lighting in the bathroom and inferior toiletries. There is a cooked breakfast available, but the presentation had little imagination. This business has been operating now for some years, but it badly needs renovating and modernising to make it stand out amongst its category."
Mandala Ace Albany Hotel
"The place is nice and good for everyone I recommended the place as it’s quite and near from other fast food and restaurants and other places to visit and take some pictures and see the sunset near beaches and staff is intimidating in a good way but still they tried their best to provide what they can."
Six Degrees Boutique Hotel
"Six Degrees is inside a centrally located historic Albany hotel. I chose the low priced ‘shoebox’ room on a week night and was impressed with the size, comfort and cleanliness. Shared bathroom facilities were close by and impressively clean with plenty of hot water and quality white towels. Inside the room were plenty of towels and a comfy bed and pillows as well as a small fridge and locker for storage. The hotel was quiet overnight. My window faced the rear of the property. Parking was on the street close to the front door. Security into the building and my room was very good. Check in and out were easy and quick. Highly recommended for a well located short stay in Albany."
Hilton Garden Inn Albany
"Perfect Weekend Getaway Option in Albany! My wife and I recently stayed here for a quick weekend trip, and it was the perfect base for our Albany adventure. As a relatively new addition to Albany's waterfront, this property brings a much-needed touch of modern, reliable comfort to the Great Southern region. 📍 The Location You couldn't ask for a better spot. It is located right on the waterfront next to the Albany Entertainment Centre. It’s incredibly convenient—just a short, scenic walk to the historic Stirling Terrace and York Street, and right next to some great dining options like Due South. 🛏️ The Room True to the Hilton Garden Inn brand, the room was exceptionally clean, modern, and well-designed. The Bed: Super comfortable—exactly what you need after a long drive down from Perth. The View: If you can, definitely book a Harbour View room. Waking up to the sun rising over the calm waters of Princess Royal Harbour was an absolute highlight of our trip. Amenities: Good Wi-Fi, a proper work desk, and a great shower with excellent water pressure. 🍽️ Dining & Service We had breakfast at the in-house restaurant, and the selection was great with plenty of fresh, hot options to fuel our day of exploring. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and happy to share local tips about the area. ✨ The Verdict While Albany has plenty of historic charm, sometimes you just want a reliable, modern, and upscale place to sleep without any fuss. The Hilton Garden Inn delivers exactly that. It offers great value, premium comfort, and top-tier views. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip south!"
Pelicans Albany Middleton Beach
"Perfect for short stays. The furniture is a little out dated but fine. There’s an oven as well"
Albany Motel & Apartments
"Clean, amazing place to stay, friendly staff"
Majuba Country Lodge
"Facilities: Very complete, and the couple is French, the room is very atmospheric, it is the best place I have ever stayed in Western Australia! ! Health: Very clean! There was no dust or hair on the ground, it was spotless. It was obviously a farm but there were no bugs! Environment: Awesome! The sunset is very beautiful! The farmer has two horses and a group of ducks, and kangaroos come out to play in the evening! Service: simply top notch! My friend is allergic to milk, but it didn’t hurt at all after drinking what was provided in the refrigerator, and there were fruits, bread, honey, and all kinds of other things! The landlord is very nice, the hostess is very patient, and the French food they serve at Bristo is also delicious! 😆"
Country Comfort Amity Motel
"It’s very near to the town and friendly check in staff entertaining us even after office hour."

"Best place for family accommodation near the sea with nice night views of sky and sea. I spent more than hour at night near the see with this beautiful view of ships mountains and sky with shining moon. ❤️ highly recommended for anyone who wants inner peace of life"
Emu Beach Chalets
"Good accommodation in a great locations makes for a excellent stay. Nice wooded and private location with great access to numerous paths. Stones throw from the beach and short walk to the attractions on Emu Point. Units area older and dated but clean, maintained, and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
Sleepwell Motel
"The location is convenient, and the hotel occupancy rate is quite high. I'm just stopping by for one night, that's all."
1849 Backpackers at the London
"I found the environment to be extremely uncomfortable and unsuitable . The room had a strong, unpleasant odor, and the only fan provided was not functioning.the lack of a working fan made the room unbearable. When I approached the reception to address the issue, I was initially unable to find anyone available. When I finally spoke to a staff member, they informed me that there were no spare fans available, which was both disappointing and unacceptable Additionally, the overall hygiene and condition of the room were extremely poor. The washroom and toilet were in a terrible state, emitting a foul smell that made the stay even more unpleasant."
Dog Rock Motel
"Stay was nice. Would be better if they provide microwave."
Saltair Luxury Accommodation - Adults Only
"Positives: The accommodation was situated in a peaceful area of town, perched on a hill offering a lovely view from the balcony. The queen suite, featuring a spa bath, was spacious, modern and clean. The kitchenette was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle, along with plates, glasses, and cutlery. The bathroom was also spotless, complete with a spa bath, shower and toilet. Basic toiletries, along with towels and bathrobes, were provided. Guests also had access to a washing machine. Negatives: The walls were quite thin and we could hear our neighbors moving around, slamming doors, and using the bathtub late at night. Additionally, the room lacked temperature control."
Cosy Corner Sea View Apartments
"Very clean, great location and views. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again."
Hanover Bay Apartments
"Albany has a great deal to offer the traveller and we enjoyed our stay at the Hanover Bay Apartments. We had some trouble getting hold of the key box code but this was not the fault of the host, who had been trying her best to contact us. We stayed in the York apartment which has large windows overlooking the bay and the replica sailing ship, Amity. The apartment consists of the kitchen/living in front and the bedroom/bathroom behind. DVDs and books are available and it was a nice surprise to have chocolate! For me, the bedroom was quite dark as there is very little natural light and the view is of the open plan bathroom, but this is just my feeling. We thought we saw a rat in the garden but Jeanette explained that it was actually a Kwenda or small bandicoot, so it was lovely to see some of the local wildlife."
Ibis Styles Albany
"A lot of traffic noise"
Tennessee Hill Chalets
"I was apprehensive about booking however a gorgeous little place and nicely decorated with lovely linens etc. Coffee pod machine is ALWAYS a welcome bonus. Down side which we didn’t know about was the kilometres of rutted dirt road and driveway getting there which isn’t ideal in a sports car. An outside blind for the sun would be warranted once it warms up or a bit too much. Would recommend!"
Six Degrees Motel
"Excellent place to stay and service was good customer service"
Albany Holiday Units
"We stayed for a couple of days, and being beach lovers, it was an ideal location. The room was adequate with all amenities provided. The bed was most comfortable, and we both slept well. The only criticism was the tv, which was impossible to watch in bed and selection of programs terrible. Charge a dollar extra and provide Nexflex it would be a bonus to both kids and adults."
