El Aurassi

This was our second stay at the El Aurassi hotel. The hotel is very good and well-located. The staff are lovely, but for a 5-star hotel, a few small things could be improved: if you arrive late for breakfast, there's not much left, which is a shame when you've paid for breakfast and expect to be able to eat until the last minute, regardless of when you arrive. The room cleaning leaves a lot to be desired; the vacuum cleaner isn't used, and a cloth for the toilets is used for everything else... in fact, the person who cleaned our room even left their cloth on the desk. Bath towels are not systematically replaced when requested, which is a pity. The communal areas of the hotel are relatively well-maintained. The view of Algiers is breathtaking.

The room was incredibly quiet, the only hotel so far where I haven't needed earplugs to sleep. The duvet cover had stains, which was unpleasant. The front desk didn't have scissors, which was inconvenient. The balcony was very comfortable; such amenities and the peaceful environment were truly heartwarming. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the fruit was fresh, and the roasted vegetables were delicious. Plus, there were terrace seats with a beautiful view of the sea and mountains, which was very relaxing. There's a swimming pool.

Breakfast was really bad, but everything else was great.

One of the best hotels in Algiers: clean, well-located, amazing staff, not too expensive, and a beautiful view. It's a 10/10!

Honestly, I highly recommend this place. The staff are all very kind, especially the housekeepers – everyone, really. I have nothing negative to say. I'll definitely come back, God willing 😉

I've known this place for over 20 years, and it's always very clean. It's also super well-located in Algiers city center.

The location is fantastic, and the sea-view room is beautiful. I was very satisfied with the environment and cleanliness, and the breakfast was also plentiful.
