Park Dedeman Almaty

The room was clean and tidy, and a good size compared to other hotels in Almaty. The breakfast restaurant was excellent with beautiful views. The international breakfast wasn't quite to my taste; I prefer the breakfast at Holiday Inn Express. But with such amazing views, it really didn't matter.

The room was a bit small, and the shower drain in the bathroom was slow, causing water to overflow onto the floor. Overall, I didn't feel much service. There was no bellboy to help with luggage, and many staff members couldn't speak English. It was also difficult to communicate with the front desk and in the restaurant.

Given the facility's condition, it's comparable to a 200 CNY hotel in China, not worth the 600+ CNY. The room is very old, has a strong odor, and the bathroom is tiny. The front desk couldn't even exchange foreign currency for us. They even put in the wrong destination when calling a taxi for us. While it's relatively close to where we needed to be, about a 10-minute walk, it's full of uphill climbs and stairs, which is quite inconvenient.

If you're attending an exhibition, the hotel is very close to the convention center.

The hotel is conveniently located. What truly stood out was the breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains from the restaurant. There was a wide variety of options for breakfast, and dinner was also excellent. They even have a dedicated smoking room on the ground floor. I'll definitely stay here again!
