Probably having the best views in Almaty, this hotel is great. Its breakfast is the best I've encountered outside of England, and the breakfast's location on the 18th floor is unbeatable. The only problem is it may be difficult for some people to find, so I'm attaching photos of the exterior first. No , I'm not. Attaching photos is proving problematic. Aside from only having a shower, but no bath, and lacking a big comfortable armchair, my room was fine. It was clean and free of any defects. Room 1602 faces east, and so gets the morning sun. You can see foothills of the mountains.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of hot water. The location was excellent, within walking distance of major attractions. The view from the window was beautiful, and the restaurant on the top floor offered a glimpse of distant snow-capped mountains in the morning. The breakfast selection was extensive. We were very satisfied with our 3-day stay.

Great location, with the front desk on the 17th floor. The room was spacious, and the breakfast offered a good variety and tasted delicious. The ambiance was pleasant, with views overlooking Almaty city. After check-out, the staff even asked if I wanted anything from the minibar. Overall, a very good experience.

Good breakfast spread and the terrace mountain view where the breakfast is served is amazing. I would be back for these 2 reasons. The shower is sometimes hot sometimes cold. Hard to adjust. The pillow is totally flat, like it's just the pillow case. Chatgpt told me the place is located in a lively area. It is not. I gave up the newer ozen palace hotel for this. There is no street food in Almaty, just small shops which you can just ynadax your way there. Overall, old hotel, shared building. Not worth the price.

Nice hotel but few things can get better  1. No well marked or information for reception desk location, need to ask around for directions. 2. The shower’s temperature changing quickly from hot to cold alternatively. 3. Window blocked by safety staircases, the manager refused to switch room. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay even they over charge me taxi fees.
