Aloe Boutique Hotel & Suites - Adults Only

This was one of many hotels we looked at but after so many positive reviews about the hotel and the staff it was a no brainer to book and we weren’t disappointed. The staff go out of their way to help you always with a friendly smile. The hotel is clean and adults only makes it a bonus. It’s a 10 second walk from the beach front. The beach is a cove never over crowded and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way. Plenty of little shops and places to eat out in this little village. Breakfast in the hotel was good, tasty. Not spoilt for choice but plenty for whatever your tastes. Pool area is great always get a bed. But we mostly went to the beach. There’s a car hire place nearby and a trip to Chania Old Town is an absolute must do. Would come back here again for sure and to this lovely hotel. Highly recommend it.

This is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Almeridya just off the beach... the staff were very attentive and helpful. the hotel room was very spacious and comfortable and it was impeccably clean. the breakfast was very good with many Greek dishes to taste. Three nights a week there was live music which made dinner rather enjoyable... the pool area was nice with enough sunbeds to go around. . the fact that it is an adult only place made it very relaxing and quiet... already missing our breakfast with a view...

Just got back from a 5 night stay at Aloe and jr was beautiful. Very relaxed and chilled vibe. Hotel was immaculate. We booked a Loft suite with pool/sea view and definitely made the right choice. The reception staff were so friendly when we arrived we were offered a welcome drink and cold towel, bags were taken to our room where we found a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and rose petals because it was our anniversary, lovely touch. The pool was very clean and you could always get sunbeds. The call button for waiter service was a nice touch but not needed as everything is very close and easy. The breakfast selection was excellent and served until 10.30 which was great as we aren’t early risers. I wouldn’t book half board as there were plenty of lovely restaurants in the town to eat at. The town is quite small but very lovely. The beach is a few steps away from the hotel too and you can get slinger’s and free waiter service from the restaurants / bars. All in all a lovely very ‘easy’ and chilled holiday! Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Aloe boutique & suites for 10 nights in early September . The transfer from Chania airport is a handy 45 minutes , our room was ready when we arrived mid afternoon and there was a complimentary Prosecco on arrival which is a lovely touch . The beach is really close and there’s numerous restaurants and Bars in the village with the hotel restaurant Elia & thyme an excellent standard of food.We had a loft suite room which was clean and well maintained by the housekeeping staff , big bathroom ,but the stairs to the bedroom were a bit tricky but I’m aware this is the room that I booked .We used the spa also on one occasion for massage etc and the staff were very good at there job. The pool is a nice size with plenty of loungers and we had an occasional drink which you order through a buzzer system . The toilets for the pool are on a different level to the so don’t go there with wet feet as you have to walk across the bar and down some tiled stairs which again can be tricky . The pool and bar staff were reasonably attentive when approached and generally pleasant. However, I did notice that during quieter periods, some staff would sit at the bar using their mobile phones. While I appreciate that there may not always be much to do when things are quiet, seeing staff sitting on their phones can give the impression of a lack of engagement and isn’t the best look for a business, particularly in a customer-facing environment. I think a little more attentiveness and professionalism during these quieter periods would improve the overall experience.The Brekfast buffet was fine with enough choice for everybody although again you have the same issue , steps to different levels. To get your tea/coffee the station was on an upper level to the food level. Reception staff were very helpful on anything you needed , taxi , bus times etc . There also a Brillant room to put your luggage in and shower if you have a late flight .All in all we had a pleasant stay .

We arrived in the early hours and were greeted by a very happy Harry. This set the tone of the whole holiday. I can honestly say that the staff were all amazing , were friendly, professionals and seemed really happy that you were at Aloe. The whole hotel is very relaxing. Our room overlooked the pool and sea. The room is kept so clean by the lovely Nepalese gentleman...apologies didn't get your name but you worked so hard. Plenty of sunbeds, pool area kept clean. Breakfast was wonderful as were all the staff who worked there. Shout out to Fabian who showed us around the breakfast area our first morning and looked after us during our 2 weeks. The lunch and evening menu offered excellent food and I loved my Lemoncello spritz ( thanks to the afternoon staff who made them and delivered them). I can throughly recommend Aloe Boutique Hotel .

The hotel was immaculate. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the executive loft suite inland view, which was beautiful. If you are looking for a quiet area to stay for some r and r, this is the place to come too. Plenty of restaurants to choose from along the strip. Beware, the portion sizes are big!

First trip to the beautiful island of Crete. We were met with a welcome drink, whilst our luggage was taken to our room. The hotel is immaculate, calm and welcoming. The staff are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The pool area is clean and quiet we never had an issue getting a lounger. Our balcony had a sea view where we could watch the sunsets. Almyrida is small but perfectly formed. The beach is clean and the water is crystal clear. The Greek locals are friendly. If you are looking for a relaxing escape with the most beautiful sunsets, then this is the place.

Our holiday was just perfect. It was our first holiday in over 25 years without our children and other surpassed all expectations. From check in, it was obvious that the Aloe is special. We were greeted by an excellent member of reception staff with a slight American accent - sorry, I didn't catch her name. But she was so friendly and happy to help. Harry was also brilliant and Simon who speedily took our cases to our rooms after we'd drunk our arrival prosecco. The hotel has a prime position across the road from the sea and surrounded by a few great tavernas. Our room was well equipped and comfortable. The only improvement would be to improve the larger towels. Some days they were large sbd fluffy and other days they were thin and tiny. Breakfast was great and tables cleared quickly.. Lots to choose from. A 2nd coffee machine would be a good idea as there was often a queue. The staff though are what makes this hotel. All were friendly and chatty. Kleo, Asterios, Jeanne, Fabian and Abbey in the restaurant were all so lovely. Angelina behind the bar who makes fantastic cocktails. All were just great. They all work so hard - sorry if I left anyone out. Plus the little touches... we asked for 2 extra chairs on our balcony so we could enjoy a glass of wine before going out for dinner. They appeared within minutes. To the wine glasses provided amd even a bottle of prosecvo for my birthday and a strawberry tart complete with candle and Bucks fizz for breakfast on my birthday too. We will be back one day I'm sure. Meanwhile, I will recommend your hotel to my customers looking at Crete in the travel business I own.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a positive experience, particularly if your priority is relaxation and switching off completely. The hotel itself is modern in design, with excellent facilities throughout. The gym and pool areas were always spotless and very well maintained, and the reception staff were consistently professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the loft rooms, which was comfortable overall and nicely designed, although it did feel a little clinical with the all-white décor. It was difficult to get enough air circulating, and it often felt quite stuffy, especially at night. The pool area was beautiful and peaceful, but for us it lacked a little atmosphere. It remained very quiet throughout the day, which will be perfect for guests looking for complete peace and relaxation, but those looking for a more social or lively holiday vibe may find it a little too subdued. I also used the spa and booked a sports massage, which unfortunately fell below expectations. It didn’t feel particularly tailored or therapeutic, and for the price, I didn’t feel it offered great value. The hotel is located in a quiet village with some very good restaurants nearby. Although, we found ourselves taking taxis into Chania when we wanted a little more atmosphere, character, and variety. The only other minor point was that one waiter came across as less approachable than the rest of the team, which stood out because otherwise the service was very good. Overall, this is a great if you’re looking for a stylish, peaceful escape. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere or more going on nearby, it’s worth keeping the location and overall vibe in mind.
