Bruny Island Escapes and Hotel Bruny Reviews

Bruny Hotel was the perfect stopover on our Bruny Island trip. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with beautiful views, and the hotel food was delicious. We stayed in the Adventurer Room this time. We were so excited to see wild kangaroos right outside our room when we checked in at night, and then again on our back balcony when we woke up the next morning!

The room directly faced the ocean, and when I entered, a kangaroo was peacefully grazing on the lawn right on the balcony. It was completely focused on its meal. The hotel having a restaurant is a big plus. The kitchen is well-equipped, so you can easily whip up a simple meal – just remember to do your grocery shopping beforehand.

Superb view with extremely well kept room. Highly recommended. Tried the restaurant food and no complaints…worth the $$$.

This hotel comes with its own bar and restaurant, plus a bottle shop – a true all-in-one hotel experience! The ocean view rooms are fantastic, and they even have a small kitchen with complete dinnerware. My only minor gripe is that the window in room #4 wasn't very clean.

Environment: The scenery around the hotel is amazing.

This is a unique stay with a distinctive exterior. You can even spot wild wallabies right from the backyard, which is adorable! It's also a great spot to watch the sunset. The hotel's attached restaurant is one of the better ones on Bruny Island. The room was comfortable and clean, and felt private from other accommodations. It definitely has a vacation vibe.

Woke up to kangaroos right outside our balcony! The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and parking right at the entrance was super convenient. I'm very happy with it.

The motel suite facing the ocean offers stunning views. I highly recommend catching the sunset in the evening and the sunrise in the morning. While there aren't many restaurants or supermarkets on the island, there's a great restaurant and bar right next to the accommodation, which I definitely recommend.

I try to book this hotel because of the Sea View from their hotel website, there are some Lodge facing to the Sea. But my family (4 people) was placed in a separate house 10 minutes away from the actual hotel. No sea view at all—just a view of the road, and the traffic noise is constant. Disappointed when my family spending one night in Bruny island.

The location is a bit out of the way, but it's quiet and perfect for a relaxed lifestyle.

The location is absolutely stunning. It's right in the middle of the island. The room is beautiful, and from the balcony, you can see animals like kangaroos, black birds, and rabbits. It's really close!

The room was comfy and nice!! they also got cider for complimentary, lovely staff, chowder was yummy but the pasta quite salty. Overall was great stay!! Thank you :)))

It was very comfortable, but I originally booked a three-bedroom for more comfort. It was too dark, so we ended up staying in one room anyway. It was a waste; I should have booked a two-bedroom instead.

This hotel had some truly shocking aspects. We booked three rooms, only to find them located tens of kilometers apart. We then had to find the rooms ourselves, which was unbelievable. On top of that, check-in was delayed, likely due to a staffing shortage on the island.
