Pet friendly Hotels Alor Setar

Pros: i. Nice room with full amenities, i.e. full bathroom utensils, tea-coffee making, iron, hair dryer etc. ii. Nice spread at buffet breakfast, though little variation throughout our 3 nights stay iii. Staff were very responsive and seemed eager to serve Cons: i. Aircond in bedroom and hot water in bathroom have lives of their own. Its either too hot or too cold regardless of what you do to their controls ii. Parking was a bit lacking, maybe because we were there over the weekend during the school holidays iii. I had problem with the wifi every time I went out and had to sign in again with a new password when I return to the hotel, which I had to get from the front office. Please note that my wife did not have that problem 😃

Hotel was ok since the price was reduced. But it was poorly maintain. The cupboard was chipped, the shower drain was clogged and the towel need to be change. The room a little dark and need to have more lighting. Parking area need to readjust, big car have problem getting into the slot

Not beyond my expectations when the room was not so clean . Lantai berhabuk also ada bed bug . Kt dinding pon ada kamitetep banyak sgt. Risau anak trpegang or trjtuh kt katil . Breakfast ? Baca review byk choice and sedap . But when it come to my turn , not so much choices yg ada . Tak mcm yg digembar gemburkan oleh review org . But yg best nya pekerja friendly and so helpful lah . Repeat ? Maybe no .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Star City Hotel in Alor Setar, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. My room was spotless and well-maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot, with easy access to shopping malls and popular tourist attractions. Overall, my experience at Star City Hotel was superb, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Alor Setar.

Very strategic location near to aman central mall and dataran alor setar a lots chinese restaurant around the hotel. A bit dated room and bathroom for 3 nights staying the tv not working they provide buffet breakfast a simple one but tasty. What i really like is the aircond… cooling make u comfortable in this hot weather

The Leverage Business Hotel - Bandar Baru Mergong Review I stayed at The Leverage Business Hotel - Bandar Baru Mergong while in town for the Petronas Le Tour de Langkawi, and overall, it was a good choice for convenience. The hotel is located close to Lotus, which made it easy to grab essentials or food whenever needed. The room itself was decent—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. While it’s not a luxury hotel, it had everything I needed for a business-style stopover. The staff were polite and check-in was hassle-free, which was nice considering the busy schedule during the event.

Attentive front desk staff. Forgot his name. Overall great services. Will repeat. Some more just a few step away from Aman Central Mall.

This is one of the oldest hotel chain in Malaysia since 1995 if not mistaken, great locations at many major cities and places in Malaysia. Staff is working hard to please guests that’s encouraging indeed. However the only let down of this hotel is the facilities and amenities are not been replaced as owners seemed not interested in refurbishment. This is very sad for me as I do enjoy to stay at Sri Malaysia hotel chain, great location, ample parking space, but the run down facilities indeed a let down. Even breakfast spread is the same over the years, such a low end budget hotel. Hope the owners of this hotel invest and reinvest if not this remarkable hotel chain will slowly wipe out from the Malaysia tourism industry map.
