We booked Amarynthos resort but got message from them day before arrival that the hotel closed for season. They put us at palmariva hotel. It’s a very dated hotel. It seems like it’s a French vacation club and catered to those members and also groups. Rooms were very dated. Bathroom needed to be cleaner. It was all inclusive - we only ate breakfast there. Our first night we ate dinner there and it was awful. Thank goodness we had a car to go out for dinner. There is nothing around walking distance from hotel - shops restaurants, etc. we made it work because it was paid for, but would not recommend.

The comfort of the hotel is really not great.
The mattresses are of deplorable quality. We had a room where the bed only creaked as soon as we moved with a mattress where we felt all the springs.
We asked to change rooms.
We had another room where the bed no longer squeaked but the mattress was the same as in the other room. Dead mattress.
Then we arrive in the room, the bottom sheets which protect the mattress were limited. We found ourselves with our heads resting on the mattress without protection...a horror.
Then the bed is not made apart from the bottom sheets being too short. The top sheets are not made.
In terms of meals, the dishes were basically the same throughout our stay.
I do not recommend this hotel😡
