Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo-Amherst

Hotel location is good, it's close to the highway so easy to get to. The hotel staff were nice and offered us water on arrival. The room is very spacious, clean and nice. The lock pad to our room was not working, we reported it to the front desk, but they did not fix it right away, they were not able to move us to a different room either and they did not offer any compensation. So we always needed to have someone inside the room to open the door from inside or we had to call the attendant at the front desk couple of time when no on was in the room so a bit of hassle.

Stayed here with school aged kids and was very happy. Room was nice and clean. Only small annoyances were no ice bucket, and the light switches for bathroom area were in weird locations. Having the toilet separated from the vanity was a huge plus with our whole family sharing and trying to get ready. Staff was super nice and helpful. Due to change in plans I had 2 separate stays and they made it seamless. All the staff was also friendly in the halls. Breakfast was very good (especially the bacon and scones). The pool is big and nice, and the hot tub was great after our Niagara Falls visit. There’s also a nice patio area and basketball hoop which was a nice surprise. I also saw a sign that they have games you can borrow. The location is nice if you’re visiting Buffalo or Niagara Falls. The only tough part is turning left out of the parking lot to get to the interstate; we ended up going right and turning around. Convenient to stores and restaurants though, many choices within. Mile or so. Overall we had a nice experience! Would definitely stay here again.

Neatly maintained rooms with helpful staffs! Recommend this place if you are looking for suites with kitchen.

This hotel is newly renovated. Very nice. Very clean. Staff was very pleasant. Definitely would stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and the room was spotless. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

First floor was under construction. They set off the fire alarms at 8 am Saturday morning. Work men all over the hallways. When we arrived they didn’t have the room we reserved with a king bed. Told us they only had a room with queen beds. We were not happy. The receptionist told us the guest laundry was closed and offered no alternatives. The receptionist the following day gave us a preprinted sheet with local laundromats.

Experience was good. Pool nice and clean, plenty of pool towels, hot tub was good also. Breakfast had plenty of options for adults, not very many kid options though. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious to accommodate a larger family.
