Studio 6 Corporate Extended Stay Amherst Buffalo NY

We booked 1 room with the hotel. When we arrived they told us the reservation was cancelled because they were overbooked. When I called their customer service they said we would be refunded in 7 days. We were not. They lied to my credit card company when I disputed the charge and claimed that they delivered the room. When I called to get the booking details they admitted to me it was cancelled, and then I found out they had charged me for 2 rooms. When we pulled up to the parking lot, we thought the hotel was being evacuated because there were groups of people just standing around outside. Apparently there is no outside seating. At the check-in desk, it was unclear who actually worked there; the employees dressed the same as the customers and didn't seem to have any customer service experience. They're charging too much for a hotel in the middle of nowhere. Since part of their business model seems to be based on fraud, I doubt they invest in training their staff.

This is basically a scam run by Orbitz/VRBO; the company actually holding all the cards for the reservation is a UK company and they will charge you Euros, meaning you’ll pay foreign transaction fee as well as make it so the only way to cancel is to call their international number. Very deceptive practices. Also, they posted glowing reviews of this dump, when every other outlet has 1 or 2 star reviews highlighting how dirty the place is.

I booked one week at this extended stay. The toilet in the room did not flush properly. I went to the front desk and they told me that there was not a maintenance person to fix it and they did not have another room. I asked for a manager, they gave me a phone number that no one answers - it just hangs up each time you call. I asked them to please have it fixed by tomorrow and left the property. The next day I went back and the toilet was still not fixed. I asked the front desk about it again and they said again there is no one to fix it and they don't have another room. I left the property ( i had to go to work) and returned at 8 pm. There was no one at the front desk. I got my things and put my keys in the drop box. I took a picture of the keys and the time and date before putting them in the drop box - and never went back to the property. I contacted Corporate - G6 hospitality, they put in a complaint to the property and I have been waiting for a refund. I contacted the BBB - filed a complaint and corporate offered me a courtesy refund. I accepted it and stated that I expected it to be a full refund - and because I accepted it, the BBB complaint was closed. I then received another direct e-mail from corporate stating that they were NOT going to give me a refund. that I needed to contact the property. I contacted the property and they didn't know anything about it and said they would not be refunding my money. This place is a complete scam and is dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. IT IS GROSS AND NOT SAFE BESIDES!

Booked a room here through Priceline. During check-in, shifty management person asked me to tap my credit card again -- it was showing a charge of $102, I told him we had already paid, he said it was for security deposit -- which seemed shady to me since haven't had to do that before (credit card information is sometimes requested / kept for security deposit, but never required a payment) -- I checked three times, still he maintained it was for security deposit, and yet the charge went from pending to actual so it was not a security deposit fee. Have contacted Priceline multiple times, they told me each time they tried and couldn't contact the hotel, they will try again and get back to me, and they still haven't. Tried contacting Studio 6, no response from them either. More about the principle at this point -- thieves shouldn't be able to get away with stealing.

There is mold growing on the first floor.the carpets need to be cleaning.the parking lot is filthy .garbage is all over People are sleeping in laundry room.they are sleeping in the hallway..please do something Clean

Not very helpful. There were no toiletries in the washroom. There was hair in the bathtub. The walls are very thin, you can here the other guest in the other rooms. There were alot of guest slamming the doors during the night. The breakfast was oatmeal. Scrappy breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Cheap management.

we travel with my fiancé for work i have stayed at many extended stays around the country as we like to have a kitchen so we don't eat out as much & i work remote so im here all day. this is the WORST. no pots/pans(even after being told"we're getting it together" 4 different times to finally be told i can go buy them & they will be reimbursed back to the room(THIS IS A COMPANY BOOKED HOTEL SO MONEY REIMBURSED FOR PANS I BUY WONT EVEN GO TO ME) gave me two butter knife's and a steak knife but not even a fork or spoon??? even towels, you can give 4 towels but only two wash rags??? I ask for a vacuum/broom as i travel with my child told "only house keeping can come in the rooms with one" huhh? i've never at a single hotel have been told that. who wants strangers coming in to clean a room your in ALL day already with your child when i have no problem cleaning up my self if given the proper things( it's called you write down who borrows what and keep up with it like EVERY other hotel does) . pulled out the pull out couch to see the sheets are still on it from previous person does housekeeping not have a check list like they have on the mirror in the bathroom? the bed rail isn't even installed correctly where the right side of the bed rail sticks out which we tried to fix but would have to take the whole bed apart to do and gotta watch where you sit or the bed will lean forward. i'm not usually one to complain but over wall extremely unhappy with this hotel, the quality and the communication of this hotel.

Terrible!! Don’t waste your money staying here. It’s disgusting. Go next door to any of the other hotels. They’re very sketch. The Property Manager is delulu. This place should take an L. The police are here nearly on a daily basis, wi-fi janky, appliances are sub. Breakfast is far from boujee. You’ll get semi-warm coffee, a Nutra grain bar and packaged blueberry muffin. Staff, Lazy, incompetent, non-effective. Rather than dealing with guests, they call 911 to avoid communication. Since when were slippers approved work attire? Dirty walls, floors and parking lot. Rooms, likewise. Corporate relations- don’t bother complaining, Go Elsewhere!
