I’m a bit of a fan of Premier Inn but would not say here again. We had booked for 3 nights. Staff were good, breakfast was fine but the room we were in was far too warm. Checked in late Friday afternoon and it felt very warm, tried to adjust the temp, but nothing worked. Went out Saturday got back mid afternoon, it was even warmer. Went down to reception c 15:00, the lady said she would try and find a fan and would get back to me in 10 mins. At 16:00 I went back down, no fan available so I asked to be moved. While this was being organised another member of staff asked if I was the person who was having issues with the room. She said they had been having issues with some rooms since the hotel was extended. We were in room 111, we were moved to 209. As I was handing in my old room key, another lady was complaining about the same issue. We were moved to 209, this was much better although had its own issues. If you flushed the loo, you couldn’t then get water from the tap. Was annoyed that the hotel were aware of the heat issue but still let the rooms which were affected.
