Stayed here for one night for my boyfriend’s birthday. Check-in went smoothly. Location wise, it’s very convenient. Room however, was quite small. The left elevator also seemed to need a repair as the door opened & closed extremely difficult and slowly. Still made the best out of it & decorated the room!

Honestly, there are no real downsides besides a couple of minor quibbles. The location is unbeatable; a free ferry to Central Station is right outside the door – what more could you possibly need? Plus, an AH supermarket is just across the street on the ground floor. The hotel's attention to detail is impressive, with rooms featuring beds perfectly oriented towards the pier and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows.

A Tale of Two Stays at DoubleTree NDSM Checked in for a one-night stay on November 5, and the experience at the front desk was quite different from my previous Sunday visit to the same hotel. This time, I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, offering a better view and a fresh perspective. Checkout was just as friendly as before, and of course—those warm chocolate chip cookies never disappoint. Every stay tells a slightly different story. This one came with a scenic bonus and a reminder of the little things that make a brand feel familiar.

Excellent stay at DoubleTree NDSM Werf I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree NDSM Werf! The location was perfect — just a short ferry ride away from Amsterdam Central Station (F4 ferry, every 10 minutes), which made getting around very easy. My single room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, ideal for a short stay. The overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay in Amsterdam!

The room renovation and design is nice. Service from the staffs was excellent, they provided delicious cookies for check in. The only bad thing was the AC got some big noise and the walls for noise reduction was bad. But overall its not a bad choice for this cost.

Pros : our room had a View to die for, facing the river, the room was beautiful and clean, comfy bed and pillows that were so comfy. Love the cracking open fire in the bar too, nice to unwind with a glass in front of the fire after a busy day exploring. The hotel is very easy to get to central station via the free ferry that leaves every 10 mins. Would definitely stay here again for Amsterdam exploring. Cons: could do with more tea and coffee (and milk) for the drinks tray. Some soft background music in the hotel and hotel bar would add to the ambience.

The location was excellent, and the hotel offered great value for money. Our room was spacious with a lovely view. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely fantastic! The ferry terminal is right at the doorstep, making it incredibly convenient to reach the city center, and the surrounding area feels very safe. Service was excellent, the location is superb, and the rooms are really spacious. We were even upgraded to an accessible room, which was a great bonus.

The hotel was too small, making for an uncomfortable stay. The pier view was also nothing special.

The room wasn't as nice as it appeared in the pictures, and the service was rather inflexible.

The curtains weren't blackout, and breakfast was pretty average. Otherwise, everything was fine.

We had a one night stay at the Doubletree in NDSM.  Excellent location as it’s near Straat Museum and a short free ferry ride to town and the Central station.  All the staff were wonderful and provided us with delicious hot cookies to munch on.  Room was super clean with a great view of the water!
