The hotel's location is excellent; it's within walking distance of the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. There's also a Lanzhou noodle restaurant and a small supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. If you opt out of daily room cleaning, you get a complimentary small drink, like a Coke or Fanta. Even without daily cleaning, you can still call to request fresh towels and other amenities. Breakfast on Sundays doesn't start until 8 AM.

This hotel pays great attention to small details: for example, the breakfast area provides ginger slices, tea, a microwave, fruit, and hot water for guests' convenience. The rooms also have electric kettles. The location is relatively convenient, and the room view facing the canal is nice. The front desk service is enthusiastic. However, the hygiene is a bit lacking: there's an odor in the hallway, and the bedside area hasn't been vacuumed in a while. Overall, the value for money isn't great, the bed isn't comfortable enough, and the duvet is too thin.

The hotel is located in the museum district, close to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Our room offered a canal view, but it wasn't in the most iconic canal-side neighborhood; for a true canal experience, I'd recommend staying in the Canal District. Housekeeping was a bit sloppy – food crumbs were still on the carpet when we returned to the room in the evening. It was a small area rug in the sofa section, so it seems they just didn't vacuum it during cleaning. The room was quite spacious, but the amenities were basic. There was no desk, luggage rack, or luggage stand, so our suitcases had to stay on the floor, which felt inconsistent with the over 3000 RMB price tag. Front desk service was mediocre. Before checking in, I had a duplicate booking for two nights that I had accidentally reserved twice. Since it was a cancellable booking, I contacted the hotel to modify it (reduce by two nights) before arrival, but they refused to cooperate. Ctrip intervened multiple times with no success. Eventually, Ctrip arranged with another supplier to resolve the issue. I will not choose this hotel again.

The staff member who greeted us upon arrival and check out was pleasant and efficient. Our room was ready even though we arrived before the official check in time, and it was comfortable and well equipped. The room had a lovely view of the canal and one of the windows could be opened to allow for fresh air. The only complaint I have was regarding the coffee maker - the quality was less than impressive. The fire alarm went off in the middle of our last night there, and the staff were a bit frantic and very apologetic as it was a false alarm. The lobby area is bright and comfortable, with extensive areas for lounging and socializing, including a very cozy area with a fireplace. The self-service cafe in the lobby area had good pastries, decent coffee and a limited selection of other snacks.

Great room, clean and comfortable, with canal views right outside the window. The location is perfect, right by the Museum Quarter. Just across the street, there's a residential area with some excellent restaurants. The only thing to note is that the bathtub is quite high, especially for Asian guests, so it's easy to slip and fall if you're not careful.

Excellent hotel. The room is very nice with beautiful view of Amsterdam. It is at the quieter side of the city but still have many restaurants around to choose from. I’ll definitely stay there again next time visiting Amsterdam.

Hotel is near Van Gogh museum and rijksmuseum within walking distance. The view from the room was nice as we can see the canal. When we check in, front desk staff King was super friendly and helpful, definitely a highlight of my stay there. Unfortunately on the first night of my stay, we were starving and too tired to go out. I called to the front desk and ask if there’s any room service or restaurant in the hotel, the reply I got was “no no no, we don’t have” and hung up, like I was disturbing her. I was so surprised I got that response as people in Amsterdam are very nice in general. She definitely should learn hospitality from King.

The location is very convenient, and the surrounding neighborhood is relatively quiet. The room is quite spacious. Being canal-facing, there's a bit of noise from the street, but it's acceptable. The staff are very friendly. I recommend staying here.

The hotel's location is pretty good, making it easy to get to the museum. You can even see the canal from the window. However, the overall condition is comparable to a European Atour Hotel, so for the price, it's decent.

Located on the outskirts of the canal district, this hotel offers convenient transportation and is incredibly quiet with peaceful surroundings. The breakfast is good, with hot food available to order. The room is spacious. The only minor issue is that the bathroom doesn't have a door, so water can spill out. Overall, it's a great stay and highly recommended!

Fantastic stay at Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel. The location is perfect, close to the museums, canals, restaurants and easy transport links around the city. The hotel was spotless throughout and the room was modern, comfortable and very well maintained. Staff were friendly, professional and always happy to help with recommendations or anything needed during the stay. The amenities were excellent and everything felt high quality. Overall a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Amsterdam.

If I ever visit Amsterdam again, I'd definitely want to stay at the Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel. Every single person I encountered was incredibly friendly. I was truly touched by how diligently they tried to resolve even my most minor questions and requests. The room itself was very spacious, and the interior design was fantastic. The water pressure was excellent, and the drainage was great. I even liked the performance of the hairdryer! Honestly, there was nothing I disliked; everything was perfect. It's a convenient 5-10 minute walk to the Van Gogh Museum. There's also a daily farmers market nearby, which I visited frequently. While public transport might be a little tricky in the immediate vicinity, it wasn't a major inconvenience.
