Postillion Hotel Amsterdam

On a trip to Marbella, the hotel was as clean as ever, and the breakfast was good. The European industry standards are evident, so you can check in with peace of mind. The location is also great! I'll continue to choose this hotel!

So good, I really liked it. The location was great, close to McDonald's too. I also liked that they served coffee and cream. Not much time left now, I'll definitely come again next time! 😊

This hotel isn't in the city center. Normally, it's a five-minute walk to the nearest subway station, but due to ongoing construction, the alternative station is a 13-minute walk away, which is something to consider. The hotel itself is clean and new, with smart home features that give it a high-tech feel. If the original subway station were operating normally, it would actually be a great place to stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic and unique stay. The hotel is very modern, and everything operates on a smart system, which made the experience easy and comfortable. What I loved most was having an ice machine on every floor – a practical and rare amenity. The rooms are clean, the design is contemporary, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam.

Very friendly staff. The air conditioning wasn't working, so the room was very warm. We mentioned it, and a fan was immediately brought to our room. Good location, close to the metro. Clean room. Top!

The hotel isn't in the city center, but getting around by metro is super convenient, and Amsterdam isn't a huge city anyway. It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and the path is pretty flat, which is great when you're dragging luggage. (Picture 1 shows the view from the metro exit.) Rooms are cleaned daily. There aren't any individual shampoo, conditioner, or toothbrushes, just a single shower gel, but that's pretty standard for European hotels. The pillows are quite high but not hard; I found them easy to sink into and comfortable. The Wi-Fi speed was good most of the time. I couldn't find an on/off switch for the air conditioning, only temperature adjustments. The motion-sensor light in the bathroom was a bit funny – it would go dark after a few minutes! The staff were friendly and efficient. Other than check-in, check-out, and storing luggage, I didn't interact with them much. Luggage storage is free, which is a nice perk. After checking out, there's a restroom, sofa, and charging ports on the ground floor, which is perfect for a quick refresh before heading to the airport. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so it's a good idea to eat before heading back. Although the room isn't huge, the bed is small and the layout is well-designed, making it surprisingly functional. We could open two large suitcases at once. Overall, it's quite similar to a budget hotel back home, but prices are bound to vary due to location, especially during tulip season when they definitely go up. For the price, it's still decent value for money.
